Getting a date is so exciting!!!! Unfortunately, I could pretty much eat anything the first couple of months having my band. However, I had very little fluid in my band (I still only have 3.5 cc's in my 10cc band). Check out my last video as I give a little advice to new banded peeps. I think everyone feels that the WLS won't work for them. I know I did. I think it's because losing weight has been suck a huge issue and ordeal . Tried everything. With little results causes this mentality. I feel ya but I'm sure you will be a success.
Do you have a WLS support group you can attend? The info and friendships I've received from support grp has been so valuable. It's good thing to meet up with WLS people who has undergone the same procedure as ou. To help mentor
Congrats on getting s surgery date! I can relate to a lot of things that you've said in your videos. Pre-band i ate large quantities of savory carbs because the food tasted so good. I've worried about failing with the band. I make these youtube videos and don't want my family and friends to find them, because i feel like the videos are very personal and i don't want to share the vodeos witj people that don't understand being overweight or getting the lapband.
