This ep was soooo Good, they had me thinking Banda was the jack Also, wth, Chishiya's intuition and instincts guessing his symbol had me. Even wo Ippei's help tho. Wtf. Genius PLOT. This was my fave game in S2.
@@hanhoang7883 He knew Matsushita was lying about it being Heart since Chishiya suspected him of being the Jack, and when Chishiya asked Kotoko (the Woman) if his suit was Club, she ignored him so Chishiya deduced it wasn’t Heart or Club, so his correct suit was either Diamond or Spade, and he guessed the correct one (which was Diamond).
The 2 psychopaths would honestly make AMAZING final face cards. They're both intimidating, cold, logical, and methodical. As would Chishiya. In fact, on first watch, I thought that it just HAD to be either Yaba or Banda. They both exude crazy antagonist aura, and I LOVE it. I've always appreciated anime characters like them. They're just so cool.
Smart move for the director who went away from the lore a bit and put Chisiya in Jack of Heart game. Yaba Ouki is a bit more humanized and the Jack is obviously being nerfed to make sure Chisiya survived
I think its better to just nerf the jack in general, I think the hypnosis stuff and the fake eye were the weakest points of that game to be honest, I found it really stupid, especially since the jack didn't try to also use the hypnosis on banda to be sure that he wouldn't get the chance to talk to suit guy. the fake eye thing was also stupid in general, since why now in all the other games is it actively riged, when others even 10 of hearts always made it possible for the others to win
There is one thing I don't completely understand. At the end of the game, Banda and Yaba mention that Jack gave up after they'd tortured him and stated the wrong symbol to kill himself, even though they'd told him the correct answer. This suggests there was one last round where all four survivors had to guess their symbols, and the game ended with Jack's death. Yaba and Banda could trust each other. But who assisted Chishya and told him his symbol? It's difficult to believe the two psychos helped him for no reason when they could have killed him.
@@michycakes This would mean he did it twice, right? After Ippei's death, he asked Jack and Kotako and then guessed between the remaining two symbols. But the second time (which we don't see), he had no one to ask since Yaba and Banda were busy torturing Jack. Guessing between four symbols, that's insane luck.
I guess Banda and Yaba thought something like "Well, we only need to kill the Jack, plus we kind of like this guy, he's pretty smart, there's no point in killing him so we're gonna tell him the right symbol" either that or Chishiya was incredibly lucky and guessed the right symbol out of 4 options, which is unlike but is Chishiya hahaha. I'll go with the first option tho
@@aaronuzcategui4230 I agree it comes down to these two options. It's understandable they glossed over this bit in the episode. Guessing the correct symbol out of four would be insane luck. As for Banda and Yaba... I wouldn't be completely surprised if they thought, "That guy is way too smart, he might be a threat. Let's kill him right after Jack." It would be prudent of Chishya to take off his collar and get away as quickly as he could while they were still checking on Jack - just to not risk it. 😅
This was the Jack of Hearts game. There were still more games to come. Banda and Yaba are cold, logical thinkers. Their decision on whether to help or not help Chishiya boils down to the question of whether they think that their chances of survival are better if Chishiya is a possible participant in future games. I think that there are three factors which would argue that it would be in their own best interests to keep him alive for future games: (1) Chishiya is smart and would be a valuable ally in future games, (2) Chishiya would owe them a favor if they kept him alive for future games, and (3) they can be fairly certain now that Chishiya is not a "citizen" and therefore if Chishiya shows up together with them in a heart-like game like this one, they can rule him out as being the hidden "citizen" that was planted in the game. Bottom line is that it would be in their own best interests for Chishiya to be kept alive.
I loved his acting too, like when he hit his head when entering jack of hearts' cell he didnt even flinch and continued acting, such a pro. But you know when there are so many edits of characters like Banda and Niragi , Jeffrey Dahmer (especially if he is a real person) made by fangirls, you know there is a problem. We should not popularize serial killers like what the hell, why still many ppl don't get it I don't know.
While i don't get the craze with liking Serial Killers either there's really nothing wrong if they're fictional and isn't based on anyone on real life ("based on", not "inspired" because inspired means it's still a totally different person/character) Jeffrey Dahmer is a real person, now that's a problem because it's disrespectful to the victims, but Banda and Niragi is a fictional character, they technically have never hurt anyone and there's 0 victims I would rather see an edit of this guy rather than another Ted Bundy flower crown edit
You need to learn how not to get lost between fiction and reality. Light Yagami is also a serial killer, and I hate him with all my guts, but even if I could I would never ban people from making edits for him. Do you really want a world where literature, art, and other forms of high or low entertainment only consist of moral figures, like in China or North Korea? Mature people know very well that finding certain immoral characters interesting does not equal to supporting violence or evil in real life, because they have codes and disciplines. People who are so easily broken and afraid of losing control (and hypocrites, sometimes) are actually those who shun these things at all costs, thinking everything in reality will be safe and better when all depictions and dicussions of evil are censored or condemned. People can like and make edits of certain characters AND disapprove their wrongdoings at the same time---yes, they exist. And not all people who are attracted to serial killers (in theory, or their history, or their psychology) lose their mind over real killers in real life---many of them actually have a very high empathy with victims when they see true sh*ts going down in the news. How exactly you are affected by this much attention to evil is determined by what a kind of person you are deep down, the bad will be worse, but for the good this will only transform into knowledge or creativity. You are just being overly and unecessarily judgmental, and we should just see you as a reminder for us to not go to extremes.

This is actually what lacking from the live adaptation compared from the manga. In the manga every player is described to be scared and tired after finishing one game and hoping other players will finish other games (for me, this is actually logic). Even arisu only play 2 games (k of clubs and queen of hearts) because he is tired and afraid as well. That's why most of the players only play 1 game.. But chishiya is different story.. He is really pasionated in playing in the diamonds that's why chishiya play jack of diamonds (the mahjong game) and not jack of hearts. So yeah the live adaptation is lacking of that point of view.. Other than that is perfect... But some of the actings are quite less on point like the jack of hearts.. He supposed to be a crazy and smart mentalist who thinks his show success but in netflix he looks like a player who just want to survive (while we all know, all the former players who become the face cards holders are all crazy.. That's they chose to become the citizen and not back to the real world)
@@albar-maulana yeah season 2 is much better in the manga tbh While the acting is on point the script isn't that good, the Jack of Hearts should've been longer, the game is an excellent character study and nearly every single player contributed to the game, i was so disappointed when i found out the Swindler, Priest, and Salesman is cut Not to mention Chishiya (as much as i love him) shouldn't even be on this game, after all his specialty is Diamonds sinces he's a doctor, there's no hint of him being good at judging people's emotions, only rationality, something that is always broken in Heart games

It is very easy, jack only has one eye...left eye..the guy with lame bang shows one eye only..with the loon, u can tell he is ghe jack...no need manh ppl died in this game LoL
