Yeah a bigger size would’ve been nice, but. Who’s to say it won’t happen later? - these and the Godzilla Monster Series stuff is very easily a testing of the waters type releases 👀
These are cool cuz they're the figures that I wished existed when Bandai America were putting out the standard vinyl figures in the 2000s/2010s. Glad that they are here now. Hoping that they do Showa kaiju like Gigan and Hedorah and other Godzilla suits like Megaro Goji.
My main problem with these figures is that they're clearly remolds from earlier bandai figures. Mainly the 12 inch BA Kiryu (Including the same black teeth and puffy chest) and the most recent MMS Finalgoji (same expression/mouth curve and tail pose) as far as I can tell.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason these exist is because they simply had molds they could re-work. Bandai America hasn’t been doing much in recent years outside of importing. Hopefully it’s just a start up sputter on their part. And they’ll be able to utilize a better means of creation *ba-dum tiss*
It looks like better quality. There's not much paint, but it doesn't look bad. The breath effect connection is also stable. I want release "Shin godzilla".
This is like the Hammond collection of Godzilla, but too adorable. Aaaaaaaaaah, I want a Hiya Minus One both his normal Dinosaur look and mutated form NO HEAT RAY.
I hope Bandai can do MonsterVerse figures, because I’d love figures of Godzilla and Kong in this line! Heck, maybe even introduce a deluxe pricepoint (like Marvel Legends) in order to do larger kaiju like the MonsterVerse King Ghidorah, Destroyah, and Biollante!
I definitely would love to see how this line goes, I didn't expect it to be perfect with it's first figures (then again what line starts with masterpieces?) but I'm cool with it, maybe they can improve the blast accessories by making the jaws less hard to change, but who knows. I definitely love these figures and I'll be honest I was surprised why didn't they went with one of Godzilla's heisei looks, but then I thought "unless they'll improve figure by figure, maybe we'll get neat figures based on the heisei suits of Godzilla eventually by waiting", I do hope the same can be said if they did other monsters like Anguirus, Destoroyah or even the final wars Gigan which I definitely would hardcore love to see it being made for this line.
Im hoping for shpwa gigan. Best part would be that its articulation would be on par with the shm as long as it has the same articulation A showa mg would also be appreciated. Wish they would add waist swivels to the figures though
If they ever do make other kaijus besides just Godzilla or those who reappear a lot. I will be buying every single one of them depending on who they're making. Most likely no Godzilla will be bought but I sure as hell will buy a Gabra or Anguses or gorosaurus, or any other Kaiju who doesn't have that much love.
Okay. I only got Kiryu since I wanted a MechaGoji figure without breaking my bank or settle for Monsterverse Trash Can MechaGoji, but after seeing the Final Wars Goji figure, I'll pick up that one too! My only gripe is that the figure is so short. I thought it was going to be as tall as my SHMA Shin Goji
I stopped collecting godzilla when neca left Because SH monster arts too expensive. Hya be cooking ngl But I've been out of the game so long I sold all of my previous ones. I feel it will be pointless to start again.
@@ShinRobjira $25 is a bit much compared to the 3 Neca figures I've collected that were $20 each. And paid $45 for the 1962 figure which many told me I got scammed because they got theirs for $20.
Likely due to possible breakage with jaw swaps over time, I think they oughta cut that neck a bit deeper or skim the jaw up a bit. Goji need wide roar mouth
These look decent but not $25-27 worth to me. Some action figure lines like ML, Dragon star, Gundam universe do get okayish hits but mostly miss in artiulaction or accessories or paint or details.
