I still have mine and remember I had a trick implying staying in a corner and carefully shoot in a perfectly timed rhythm to get the max score of 99. Good memories! 😁
I hunted out my one this evening. I bought it when I was a kid and still play it now and then. I have beaten the record several times. I let my girls play with it and they love this retro game. I was wondering how much they are worth now.
If you want to beat this game, from what I remember, you go to the right as far as possible and you hit the first guy and you stay in that position and continue to fire. It never misses after that first hit. So after it reaches 100, it begins to toss the alphabet in there like "A1" for example. The down side is once you know this, it takes the fun from the challenge.
Yes I remember that! I got the game in 1980 and still have it. It was neat seeing the letters ... went up to E, I think. I remember it being far left... not right.
I got a replacement in the post today, I broke mine when I was wee. Love this game, shame the sound on my one doesn't work. I'll need to repair it if I can 🙂
@ArcadeUsa I know you're reviewing it and all but you forgot to add in the one tragic flaw and please don't think it makes it less awesome because it does take a while to get there but you can become so good that getting 245 points is a snap. it's the reason I put it down.
