Makes no sense how a crouch dash input for a combo ender rewards you 1 damage. In an actual match, the pressure of winning makes it more difficult to execute said input.

i've had a lot of instances near the wall where combos seem to randomly do way less damage and I always thought it was weird

That's pretty interesting. I'm new to Tekken with 8 so all the experience I have of bamco balance regarding actual, unambiguous bugs is limited to the single hotfix this game has, where they fixed the wall combos (after they broke them but whatever). Do they tend to patch these things, or are they left in for years and years?

They only patch them if enough attention is brought to them and even that is not a given. I'm trying to take the first step here but by no means do I have enough reach to reach the devs on my own

How tf did i not notice that shit lol. I'm not fitting for the combo maker title. Been doing a lot of combos with Lee HMS1+2 and somehow i didn't notice the second hit always have a 12% scaling That either intentional or a bug cause i think Bryan f214 and db1+2 don't have this bug. That or i did the combo before the patch so the scaling wasn't bugged

For this to happen it has to be delayed right ? Honnestly i dont mind that change there was so many crazy damage due to how it was working , after the update it is not like they are doing bad damage either

For me it wasn't much like a devil jin problem but the combo system , the combo system was wild as shit so i wasn't unhappy about the change, now i'm waiting for stage hasard damage to be tone down a lil bit

after heat burst + heat dash 1 damage makes perfect sense, as a wall combo the 1 damage is very likely unintended

Less combo damage is good for a lot of characters in tekken 8... only question is does this nerf the biggest offender of bs combo damage?

dragunov, reina and nina have the highest combo damage in the game and remained untouched

Yes, he is. Break the wall with 50% db1+2 and see how much less damage your heatsmash and rageart do ;)

just proved it with jack if you launch someone, break a wall then continue to the next wall and do his wall throw it's scaled at 21% but if you use his db1 string and break the first wall after landing a 50% hit the wall throw scales at 10% no heat used whatsoever any throw used in a combo done after landing a 50% hit does no damage and gets heat scaling

That's exactly it, only attack throws are affected by it and they are affected hard. Universally nerfed attack throws for this 😑

Ich hab die tage was probiert und sieht nicht bad aus, CD1 Combo ender hitten in der combo mit heat usw, Aber nicht uf1 halten sondern den loslassen dann ist man schnell genug b4 oder d1+2 reinzudrücken. Und welche combo ich liebe ohne heat oder wenn sie schon an ist, 2xEWGF ws3 laserscraper bound, laser uf1+2 und deep dash ws3 catcht die into mc22 oder mc1. Oder Mc4 nur erster hit für ticken mehr wallcarry und man kommt da sogar noch dran dann.
