Major bummer that the issue with the leg armor parts in fighter mode did not get resolved. Really makes it hard to justify dropping $150+ on this set. Hopefully, they will do a box set for a possible TV VF-1S Hikaru release. The DX VF-1 is such an awesome high-end collectible. Makes no sense they would drop the ball on the armor parts.
The frustrating thing is that they just need to add a notch to the arm peg and a lip to the leg pegs on the underlying VF-1 toys. It would cost them next to nothing to make these fixes and would make fighter with the super parts a much better experience. Hopefully their Japanese fans are providing similar feedback.
@@ScorchedEarthToys Yeah. Maybe it's an optional part that they can include with future Valk releases too as it would suck to only include it with future releases of the parts only. I remember when Graham from Macross World was kind enough to help people get replacement shoulder hinges when Yamato was giving them out. I doubt we would get the same privilege this time with Bandai.
I wish Bandai would have included lights for the wings, tails, gun pod, lights near the knee caps, lights by the shoulder and a light up visor ....I mean we paid so much money for this toy.
The arm pegs are such a disappointment in design, the fact that Bandai is borrowing from Yamato & Arcadia, they might as well have used the arm design from the V.2 1/60 VF-1's, those Valks lock in place like no ones business with or without the Armor on. Also, White painted landing gear rules!
