The video doesn't tell the story of this battle from the zero to the end of the 5th it was hot. When they played this game last year it was cooler I was at that game and this one. The Sun was on Southerns band so long they left the stands to cool off before the feild show. In this game the heat beat on both bands but Southern was in the Sun the whole game. I sat on TSU side for both games and right next to the band so I know they were a little fresher than Southern. It is hard to focus in that kind of heat. That started to show in the 5th. Both programs are awesome and I am so proud to see how far TSU has come in such a short period of time. Kudos to both bands Both bands did amazing

So KB I See You All On Brian 🌰 Because Non If Brian Arrangements Were Relevant Waiting To The End ,To Direct,when Southern Was Beat Down By The Hot Azz Texas Sun,That Was Beaming On Them All Day But Southern Still Out Blew Them,And Arrangements Too... Trust and believe the only band benefits from that stadium is txSU because have this been in an open field SU clarity and power would have been unmatched the same point was proven from 2018 battle once they got outside

Only thing SU had as an advantage was numbers. Ocean plays at an intense sound everyday at practice so the amplifier doesn’t matter to us. Its just clear as day on who you can literally see holding off to hit certain parts in SU’s band to be honest thats why i couldn’t personally understand how they got tired lol

@@tank70g As I said before southern has more people has nothing to do with getting tired when they are all playing you saying that as if they swap out tired band members lips or something???how tf can txSU get tired without criticism but not SU ?? Both trumpets were present for most of the battle and got tired throughout the dragged out battle but because It’s Southern who everyone wants to claim a win over let’s not hold the opposite band to the same standards right?? Because that seems to be y’all game plan this year in the band community for claiming a win🤣🤣

You can deny the obvious all you want but prime example is Skin. Trumpets. Thats all i got to say. If you somehow still disagree with this lol then idk what to tell you. Its not about criticism either. Its just pointing the obvious advantage out. Once brian and his staff get those same or more numbers, then you’ll see how much folks change up. Rightnow is just the tip of the ice berg and a whole lot of fun to watch🤷🏽‍♂️

Size doesn’t necessarily matter when a smaller band proves it can hang with the larger band, the thing is larger bands tend to be sloppier but also it gives less room for error to smaller bands… it’s a lot more to explain but yeah that’s a start😅

When you listen to su version of back end at jsu the basses and tenors kinda sound alike I couldn’t tell who’s part from who
