I always say this but I'm a Southern fan, and would always look forward to the battles between them and bands that were showing out in the season. With that said, this year!!! TX Southern and JSU are bands I've been checking for and looking forward to these two battling.

Ocean is outstanding! Their technicality and clarity is above the rest. KB, I agree with your assessment overall however I think the Ocean won the 1st round in the 5th quarter as well. Yes, World Famed performed a different type of song, however the Ocean's selection was more technical and solid all the way through.

Low-key this matchup is slept on and is one of the better ones every year. TXSU took it easily this year. From the arrangements, selections, volume, energy, and execution TXSU has Grambling beat. Gram is improving but the arrangements and execution still aren't there. There are parts where the sound just die out or you hear missed or wrong notes. Also, how is TXSU almost half the size and has more sound?
