There are songs with woodwind leading parts.

woodwinds provide some background sound, and sometimes they have the melody. But woodwinds aren’t designed like brass horns, so idk why folks complain about not hearing them. Woodwinds get a lot of shine during concert and symphony season where it’s easy to hear them in concert halls with good acoustics.

All brass works for DCI.
