I haven't been back to Canada since childhood and somehow I am crying watching this...I remember as a kid I was standing next to these monster wheels at the glacier as well! Thanks for this! You two are such beautiful humans!
Bellisimo!!
Waw !! What a video, guys !! Many thanks. I'm catching up with your videos since I didn't have time in the past weeks. I really hope you include in your itinerary the Louise Lake or the Moran Lake, that are incredibles, before the snowing season begins. Godspeed!
Wow, guys, just wow! I would have thought this area would only be for serious hikers, but you showed so many things to see and do for anyone! That river and the view from the mountain, stunning!!
Glad you enjoyed the video, Debbie! There's something for everyone in Banff; we stuck to light adventure, but there are more hardcore adventures to be had. You can go on longer multi day treks, plus you can also go rock climbing or even frozen waterfall climbing in winter!
Thanks! You can really do a lot with a few days in Banff. The town is quite compact and walkable, plus you're surrounded by beautiful nature wherever you look.
You guys keep adding places to our bucket list 😂 my wife and I use to visit places from your videos. Please keep creating that amazing travel content. You are the best!! Best wishes from Uruguay 🇺🇾
My husband and I love your videos! We’ve been to several of the same places you guys just always seem to beat us there 😂 We head to Banff in a week and a half, direct flight from Nova Scotia! Enjoy your next trip my fellow Canadians 🇨🇦 Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow!! That was totally amazing!! I think that we'll be going to Banff on a trip one day. Thanks for taking us there and showing us the beautiful nature.
You were indeed very lucky with the weather. At our roadtrip we weren't that lucky. No mountainvieuws, rain and lot of clouds. The lakes sadly weren't that mesmerising. But still enjoyed our 4 week roadtrip.
If there's one thing we learned, it's that the weather in the Rockies is ever changing! The day we drove in, we couldn't see the mountains either. Thankfully we got some pockets of sunshine during our outdoor activities. Glad you still managed to enjoy your road trip!
Harriet and i have been to Banff. Enjoyed our time immensely. So underrated. We spent a week there and still didn't get to see the museums we wanted to see. We are going to make future plans to visit again. P.S. Who is looking after your property in Argentina ? Hope you guys ar doing ok. Sending much love❤ from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Very cool to hear that you've also been to Banff! We didn't make it to all the museums either - there's just so much to see there. I think we could do another visit a different time of year and still manage to hit up completely different attractions. As for Argentina, yes, we always have someone looking after the place, plus friends and neighbours who check in!
Saludos chicos 🤗🤗
Awesome video! I couldn't help but notice that there weren't as many crowds as I've encountered when I've visited Banff. I know you were there in the fall, but any tips and tricks? Travelling on weekdays rather than weekends, maybe - or just deft camera work? Great work showcasing the beautiful Rockies!
It was definitely the time of year! The first time we visited in the summertime it was really crowded and a bit hard to enjoy - especially the popular places like Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Spring/autumn is better or even winter, though certain areas will be closed. And like you said, weekdays over weekends.
Loved it felt a bit envious even! What a truly lovely place ❤ I’ll be looking into going visiting Alberta for sure Thank you Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧🫶🏼 Ps went to your link to check on Colombia icefield day trip to get prices but it says ‘not bookable’ ☹️
Yes, Banff and the Rocky Mountains are so worth adding to your list! Also, thanks for the heads up on the Columbia Icefield tour! It's seasonal and only runs May thru early October. Winter must already be in full force up on the glacier so that tour won't be running again until next year.
You don't need a car to get around town, but it's very useful if you want to explore the park in depth. Some parking lots do get full (especially if you're visiting the most popular spots in the summertime), but there are overflow parking lots and shuttles. It all depends on what you want to see and the time of year you're visiting.
The Columbia Icefield day trip was a full-day activity. It's a 3-hour drive each way, though it didn't feel as long with the stops we made along the way.
love this vlog! my boyfriend and i wanna visit here 🫶🏼 thank you for showing so much so we can watch, and prepare for our trip! you both seem like such a sweet couple as well! ❤️
Hi! Beautiful video- which airport did you fly into and what hotel did you stay? If there was no car rental did the tour bus/shuttle directly picked you up from hotel?
If you're planning to visit Banff, you'd want to fly into Calgary. There are lots of services that offer transfers to Banff and Canmore. We used the Banff Airporter. The tour we went on offers pick ups from Calgary and Banff. See what works best for you!
