@@jannatulferdous6709 I am not sure on the taste but the cream cheese may make your batter too thick. You may can try using cottage cheese if you don't like the taste of ricotta since it's used in making lasagna.

Hey Natasha!! The last time I made bang bang shrimp, everything was store bought. I know, I know, but your recipe wasn't out yet. I used store bought bang bang sauce and panko breaded shrimp. We dipped it like shrimp cocktail. I like your recipe better because I have all those ingredients at home, including the shrimp. Ok, not the red cabbage. But thank you for posting this. I'm going to try again tonight.

You can also make your own buttermilk at a ratio of 1 cup whole milk to 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice. Combine and let it sit 10 minutes to curdle then stir and use.
