I always have things that bother me but I can’t tell anybody about it, i feel like they’re the type of people that you would tell. This was really helpful for me as I'm struggling with my trauma. I suffered from a different type of trauma to the one discussed in here (I'm a survivor of domestic abuse (which is basically any form of abuse from a family member)), but I felt myself relating to a lot of the conversations because my abuser was someone I loved and trusted and respected.

I know this video has been out for a while but I just wanted to thank you for making this. I dealt with an incident more recently and it’s just so much for me to handle. I feel like I can’t say a word about it or give any hint at all about what happened. It’s just such a painful experience. This video is definitely a nice silent way of getting comfort, it has certain phrases in it that comforted me a lot that I now think of when I get bad memories from what happened, I just feel so guilty and ashamed and I just keep blaming myself for everything that happened. Just thank you so much for making this video, you’re truly an amazing person.

I would have never thought that these 8 men would be my reason to happiness but here we are There own journeys are an inspiration for us stays to keep going If there is one dead end then there are 10 more streets waiting for you to start your journey through them This video was very comforting I have thankfully not been a victim of any sort of abuse but i can relate to the feeling of not being able to talk to anyone about your problems due to the fear that people will disregard them It doesn't matter how important the matter is to you but it will never be important to someone who doesn't care about you It could mean the world to you but it would be NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to them You just have to be careful about the people around you Don't be afraid to ask for help and be safe And lastly, Don't just keep wishing there are more great people in the world like Channie Be like him. Be the great person you are searching for to someone else aswell ❤

Today it will be 23 years since it happened. But I still remember it like yesterday. I was 16, and thought I could trust my friends stepdad. I am mostly healed by it, but it still affects my relationships. At least at first, and also when I am around older men.
