Poor Chan, he tries so hard to be respectful & professional. :') He literally grew up alongside Twice, they've known e/o for so long, but the girls are still senior artists (debuted earlier), so it must be hard to overcome that barrier, especially when the convo is being broadcasted live. Twice don't care, and keep telling Chan that it's okay to speak informally, but he's way too nice (and stubborn) to cross the line. There's a lot of people who would slander him or the girls for no reason. True Onces & Stays know better than to accuse the idols of anything, but multiple antis are waiting for the opportunity.
it was awkward because sana said they usually joke around and bangchan talks Normal to her in person but I think bangchan doesn’t want any scandals or to look disrespectful so he tries to keep it professional 😂

I think Sana and Chan are close or the same age, and are able to talk 'informally' amongst themselves, but since Twice debut first before Straykids, Twice is considered older (Sunbaenim) and requires formality when spoken to 'on-cam' or publicly. Hence the awkwardness at times.
So they're really not allowed to just be themselves when it's around others? That would be so weird. Like if Chan and Sana are BOTH comfortable enough with it, let it go? lol. I know Sana doesn't ask Jihyo to do honorifics with her because they're only 34 or so days apart, I guess I assumed more idols would skip the honorifics if they were close.
