Hello there, Here is the Part 1 of my Standup comedy show - Excerpt from Ashwin Srinivas Live. In this video, I talk about my favourite city - BANGALORE and climate change. The polarization in comments is so hilarious. People have set their ego to identify with their football club/cricket club/city/state/country/religion everything. People are angry over Bangalore criticism/Chennai comparison/not calling it Bengaluru. People don't realize if they don't like the video, they could just stop watching and just click next. Hehe let's play the uno reverse card for the same, but this time for the country. Imagine a stand up comedian from another country makes fun of India on things that are actually not true. Do you think all the Indians will follow the RU-vid algorithm and watch the next video? If you really think that's the case, open the comments section of that video and see for yourself. The intent of this video wasn't really from the fun aspect due to which it's getting so much hate in the comments. Fun fact: there are a million other ways to bring humour with the same title : Bangalore and climate change😋

@@akshaykumarr7541 Most of the things he said about Bangalore traffic, water crisis and weather are true (exaggeration will be part of comedy). Assuming it isn't and going to your example - If a comedian from another nation (Russell Peters - Fully Canadian with no India exposure) makes fun of India (which he normally does) by hyperbole (over exaggeration of small tropes), people enjoy it because he looks white. Racism of the nation on display. If a black guy did it, he would get hate. If an Indian did it, he would be called anti national. My point being if the joke is hilarious and generic and does not intentionally hurt sentiments, it is good.

Bro came from Chennai and made Bangalore like Chennai. Can take a joke as a joke. But there was nothing funny. Just a random tamilian criticising rameshwaram cafe. People who have lived in Bangalore for ages don't like this shit at all. Again its the northies who have made it overrated. Commenting without any offence since we are tired of hearing such jokes. Came to see the video expecting something funny but landed up hearing the same thing again. Another day of seeing lame comments on airport, flood and water crisis.
