Been riding my entire life, 40 now still ride but crazy how helmets are not required in these contests. I totally get why the riders dont wear them. I never wore one will i was about 22 and been wearing ever since!

I was positively grinning ear to ear watching this…everyone with their total commitment and dedication to getting their trick, the absolute insane level of talent and progression for the tricks, and everyone so stoked for each other. It’s just sooooo freaking good. Brothers, we are so fortunate to have this love for BMX in our lives. It’s just something so special that is tough to find elsewhere in life. I hope you all treasure it and hold onto it as long as you can.

Was hoping Matthias would pull that half whip to front peg thing that he crashed on but the flatland slam might spooked him and he changed to a different variation. Flatland slams are very very real, you dont slide so the impact can be harder due to the slower speeds.
