I remember this CD vividly, listened to it at a little record shop in downtown Pomona the day it was released and immediately bought it. It was a Friday and that same night, I brought it along to bump it in my friend's car on the way to go clubbing to Hollywood that night. Then I lost it in 2004 when I had a car repossessed 😟

Dang, I had to dig deep to find this lol. Latinos were really into this stuff in the late 90s, trying to foster a dance scene that could replace gang banging culture lol. They used to form cliques of so-called "rebels" to dance-battle other cliques and this was the music of choice. It is interesting how obscure this scene has become: many of us Latinos remember it fondly and it was a huge part of southern CA life but in pop culture it's as if it never existed lol
