Hey guys, I am getting many comments asking why I would fly business class and then take a cheap bus to Pattaya. The answer is I got gifted some Airmiles from a friend. So the business class tickets cost me around the same as regular economy tickets. The bus ride was very enjoyable and it gave me a great opportunity to make a video to show anyone traveling on a budget how to get to Pattaya easily. ✌

Ah ok I get that, however I still view taxi as best option unless they have a very small budget, one more question, did you go through fast check immigration as after flying biz class they will give you a pass, that saves a ton of time, we all know how slow it can be otherwise. I like Thai biz class but they are so expensive on like for like products these days I can fly with Emirates for £500 less and a better product. However I agree with you Thai airways offers a great service. Enjoy Pattaya what’s the exchange rate like for you guys right now, for me from UK it’s dreadful.

Hello Mark, I didnt go thru fast check immigration. It was a long line and pretty slow as usual in high season. I will check out Emirates cheers for the tip. Aus dollar value continues to drop and the baht keeps getting stronger so not a good rate for me also, but Thailand seems to still be great value in comparison to living in Australia. Cheers buddy ✌

Esquire in Asia That’s a shame as I bet they gave you a pass for fast track but you maybe didn’t take much notice it’s standard perk on biz class, actually Thai airways have own dedicated fast track lane, only Thai airways passengers use it, yep the exchange rate poor but you are right for what Thailand offers it’s still better value then Australia or Europe. Be very interesting to follow the numbers of tourists this high season, many saying numbers down vastly so I watch with interest. Enjoy and this is the first year for last 15yrs I’ve not been, I’m missing it so much but possibly going in February.

@@blueheaven144 Look at the video again .They stop at 3 places ,and finally to Jomtien the next beach down.Depending exactly where your hotel is you are better getting off at the 2 nd stop which i think is by Sukhumvit and Pattaya klang (Pattaya central road ) .

Great price and looking comfy as you claimed on that little jaunt to Pattaya from "new" BKK Airport ...never knew...always stayed in BKK an shot up to Chiang Mai by plane. Next time same way like you here...I can't wait to return to Chiang Mai. Great advice and with visuals...VLOG gets stronger as she rolls along. Good Times!

Nice to see you getting the bus I all ways get a taxi Mr T cab firm in Pattaya it costs me 1200thb. Being disabled ( bad balance and drop heal ) some times meet some one on the flight and share. But boy do I want to be there after seeing you land at the airport....thank you L J keep the good work up.

The very very bottom level is the B1 level. That is where you should have changed your money. There is a "Super Cheap currency exchange". It is right next to the train station on that level. You will get the same rate as any place you can find out in town.

First, go to the G floor of the airport, change your currency to baht there, you will get a good rate.

it's not so bad. Everything is centrally located. Departures are on one level and everything that goes with departures is on that level. Then arrivals is on another level and when you leave the concourse, all the baggage claim turnstiles are all on that level, and they are listed by your flight number and other info. I've seen worse airports. Suvarnabhumi is probably the easiest airport to navigate for how big it is.

Hey LJ, the seller of the bus ticket office told you a shit about where to get off in Pattaya. Because you said that you would like to go to the BIG C extra and then you should normally have got off the bus at bus stop No. 2 Sukumvit Road / Central Road and not at bus stop No. 3 Sukumvit Road / South Pattaya Road . I guess you still got off at the right bus stop No. 2 in time to get to the BIG C there Greetings Harry from Stuttgart / South Germany

I'll be there next month and I'm taking a bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport - Pattaya. I'm getting off on the north terminal. What transportation should I take to go to my hotel? I'm not sure about mototaxi because I have one luggage with me. taxi? grab? etc. Anyone who has experienced your opinion will be appreciated. thanks

Great informative video as always, however for great exchange rates in Bangkok when at BKK airport, simply take the elevator down to the airport link level and change AUD for Baht at Super Rich, all the thai people know and use this service, best rates in BKK .Never I repeat Never exchange at arrivals level, Tourist Scam trap. This is something I had no idea about and I thought I knew all the tricks, I’m going to check this out next trip for sure, thank you, these days with dreadful exchange rate for sterling every Baht makes a difference. I do same as Esquire I just change enough for taxi etc, then hunt down the best rate when I’m on BKK.

Hi Dave, I got given some free Airmiles from a friend. So basically just paid a standard fare price and got upgraded to business. It was my first time flying business, it was a privilege and a good experience. ✌

I never ever thought about getting a Bus i normally get a Taxi for about 1600 baht but christ quite a big saving think i do same next time i go after the Pandemic, when the horrible u.k government will allow me to fly again. :-(

I always take a taxi and there are several ones like Mr. T and Nams Taxi that only charge 1200 baht (email them in advance). A bus is significant savings in comparison but after such a long flight (I come from Canada) the last thing I want is to sit in a bus for 2 hrs. A taxi brings you right to your hotel door and back to the airport when you're leaving. I'm on vacation so why stress a few more bucks for dedicated, fast, private and a comfy ride.

I’m curious why you would get a bus? So you fly biz class good move I do as well, then you downgrade to a bus to Pattaya, negatives I see are this, 1: You are on a noisy busy bus sharing with lots others, 2: One every hour so it’s possible you could wait up to an hour, 3: Luggage goes in hold, many have lost some belongings this way, stolen often. Personally I’d simply jump into my own exclusive taxi to Pattaya, either the green and yellow public taxi or pay the extra and get the VIP luxury car. Surely if you can afford biz class you’d opt for that, takes you straight to hotel no messing about at Pattaya, they are not expensive. I really don’t understand your mix of travel here.
