These prices are affordable to foreigners but very expensive for locals. So most condos have a majority of foreign buyers who turn their rooms into Airbnb (which is against the law in Thailand) and the condo community loses its privacy and becomes unsafe with new tenants who are unregistered. Best way to prevent this is to choose a place where security is very tight or where entry is protected with biometric like fingerprints.
