Small Update: Viewpoint #1 Asok definitely has guards and when he spotted me after 3 minutes he asked me politely to get off the parking deck and not taking pictures or videos any further. He also guided me back to ground level then and wished me a happy day.
I use a gorilla pod. Thai officials don’t like tripods near any skytrains/traffic. Almost never saw them there. Especially not with foreigners. So good luck 🍀

Hi Craig! I‘m honored to help the master of Thailand time lapes and hyper lapses 🙌🏻 MRT Thailand Cultural Center. Enter the Esplanade building (McDonald‘s, BonChon Chicken and so on). Inside: Search for the parking lot. Take the elevator. Or take the stairs (4th floor). No security issues, no one will stop you. You could also just follow the people into the Rot Fai market, walk down the first aisle to the right and then enter the parking lot. You can’t miss it. I hope the sky is beautiful when you arrive.
