Warnings of extreme heat in Bangkok were issued for the sixth consecutive day, reflecting near-record temperatures across Thailand, where the heat-related death toll is approaching last year’s tally.
Bangkok’s heat index - a measure of how hot it feels like when humidity is taken into account - was listed as above 52C (126F) and “very dangerous” on Thursday, according to a Facebook post by the metropolitan administration, which told people to avoid outdoor activities. The same statement has been repeated daily since Saturday.

Arrived in BKK on April 26 for 3 weeks….110-degrees for us Yanks. And I know better-my 25th or 26th time since 1989. Now 78 and couldn’t do it if I didn’t have “my boys” (they’re 29 and 31 now) to take me around in a-c car from malls, movies, anywhere cool in day. Put them thru school/university after their father (friend since 1991) died 21 years ago so I really get quite a payoff. They take care of everything .

In February-May is summer in Thailand. April is the highest temperature that's why Thailand has "Songkran", it's Thai New Year, sprash water to each other.

Because of global warming (El Niño) and will continue to be hot like this until next year Please maintain your health by carrying drinking water with you wherever you go. to prevent heatstroke And another tip is to wear bright or light colors, not dark colors like black. Or dark blue (navy blue), etc., because these dark colors will absorb sunlight. and absorb heat The more it heats up several times than before.

I saw the temperature at 38, but when I lived in Bangkok at this season, it often exceeded 42/43°C (I lived for 7 years), so 38°C is largely ok I think.

In Bali, every afternoon we always face rain and rain. My clothes are wet and I have to wait 3 days for my clothes to dry! 😭 I don't like the months of May and August, because the night air in Bali is always cold! 😭

I've been here for decades and I've never felt it like this before 😢 It's so unforgiving. The electric bill was triple what it normally is. My work productivity has taken a hit also. I bought an ice bath just to escape. It's really crazy

Most of the people nowadays are depending on aircondition in their hotels malls house etc. But it is possible that it will disrupt due to the extreme weather and also disasters. Most of happening right now are Biblical events and this is a wake up call for all of us

There is a significant issue with excessive heat and too many sidewalk vendors taking up space on the walkways. It can be quite frustrating to navigate through such busy sidewalks. Additionally, there are fewer trees to provide shade from the direct sunlight.

G'day mate, you can drink 5 litres of water a day but your body will not absorb it without enough electrolytes. LMNT raw is the best brand, otherwise find one with no sugar 👍

Its raining cats and dogs in my city and day time temperature is around 20°C and in night it will drop to around 15° . It's pretty chilly for almost May in a hot country for us .Sudden extreme weather changes thanks to global warming.Have caught a cold 🤧☔⛈️.Anyways please take care and avoid going out in the day time.
