India already has ample stock of Hilsa fish. Bay of Bengal me bohot milta ha, Is time shortage hota ha, sab fish padma me jata ha. Isliye India Bangladesh se import karta tha. First of all in reality 70% of Bangladeshi cannot afford Hilsa fish to eat. Don't send as your wish, nothing will affect us. We buy that's why you are able to live remember this. Indians specially requested to the Bangladeshi government to export Hilsa to India. The indians included that Hilsa has become a religious culture in Kolkata's Durga Puja. Therefore for the sake of humanity and not to disrespect any religion, Bangladesh government approved to send Hilsa to India.

অনেকে বলেছেন বাংলাদেশীদের কাছে টাকা নেই ইলিশ কেনার। আপনাদেরকে বলি, আমাদের দেশে মাছ কেটে পিছ হিসেবে বিক্রি হয় নাহ। নিলে পুরোটাই নিতে হয়। আমরা যারা কিনতে পারি ২/৩ কেজি ইলিশ একদিনেই কিনি। এখনো ফ্রিজে ৪/৫ কেজির কম নেই। তোমাদের মতো মেন্টালিটি থাকলে মাছ কেটে বিক্রি করলে ১০০% মানুষই ইলিশ কিনতে পারতো। কিন্তু আমাদের মেন্টালিটি এমন নাহ যে ২০০/৩০০ গ্রাম ইলিশ কিনতে বাজারে যাবো।।

This Ilsha export is not to India, but to the people of West Bengal for festive time of Durga Puja because we have special place for them in our hearts. But if they don't import, well it's fine with us. For Indians, they must understand we don't depend on them, they can stop exporting everything to BD, we will be damn happy. We will source them from other countries.

Primarily they have no raw cotton within for which imported from India.After converting their field towards cultivation cotton and imported rice from India after finding ease.
