Sir, one Information is not matched, that green colour on flag isnt a symbol of Islam or any kind of religion, according to history of Bangladesh there is no connection about Islam with the green colour. Green is the symbol of Green nature/ Green View of Bangladesh. Maybe who gave you that information that was a huge mistake or misconception..... And many people in Bangladesh changing the history according to the religion. Here is also a big issue. Explanation about red symbol is correct. I feel so pitty after hearing the info about the flag, some Misleading Bangali changing the history of my country and giving Misconception to the foreign peoples. Which is too much.... Btw, without that every information are perfect Sir. Thank You Sir. I hope you will find the correct information.
I am Bangladeshi and I’m glad you’ve shown the negative aspects of our country. These days many RU-vidrs come here and make “oh BD is so cultural, pretty…” type of videos just for clicks from this huge population. Ya we have good sides too but the bad outweigh everything. And we need to be more concerned and active to solve all our own problems.
I'm very impressed by the number of Bangladeshi people in these comments that are complimenting the author of the video for portraying their country with such raw honesty. It takes a real love of your country to be open and honest about its problems and want to try to solve them, instead of being defensive and blaming the filmmaker for having the audacity to show the truth.
Being condescending is your idea of a good film maker 😂😂😂? I wish he had the guts to say whatever he is saying in English while doing his live. These hard working people would have been right to snatch his camera from him. All these fools who liked your comment need prayers. Bye
I sent this video to my Bangladeshi friends and family. Most are in denial that there's any problem. If you don't acknowledge you have a problem you cannot change.
Don't think they are in denial, the elites like every country live in their own bubble, they wouldn't dare to explore Bangladesh out of their comfort zone, their drivers would never take the deprived scary roots mostly in fear of getting robbed or hurt. Bangladesh got independence in just 50 years ago. It was born with 70 million people which was rare in the history. You know what, firstly, Bangladesh has to fight with natural calamities every year. Secondly it has to feed 170 million people with very limited resources. Thirdly, it was a war-devasted country with zero forex. From this stage to being the 35th world biggest economy in terms of GDP with retaining 6% growth, It's a miracle. Our ministers don't see poor people,as they claim BD is more rich than Singapore, Malayasia based on GDP. Now you see GDP has very little to do with state of the people.
the well-being of life or rich countries does not depend on the amount of GDP, but depends on GDP per capita (GDP, per person per year). for example, it’s like this: family A: have 10 people and 10 dollars, and family B: have 2 people and 5 dollars .. my question is which family is rich and has a BETTER LIFE? To be precise, Bangladesh has a GDP of 440 Billion dollars, but at the same time the population is 175 million people, that is, the GDP per capita (per person) is only 2,500 dollars per year per person... and Singapore has a GDP of 510 BILLION DOLLARS PER POPULATION 7 MILLION PEOPLE AND PER CAPITA GDP 86,000 DOLLARS PER YEAR (PER PERSON). My question to you: Singapore has $86,000 per person per year, and Bangladesh has $2,500 per person per year, then who do you think is richer?
The main problem of all third world countries is uncontrolled growth of population. That increases poverty, pollution and so many other social and health problems. But governments usually shy away from providing any practical solution for the fear of provoking extremist religious institutions.
Malaysia and Thailand are 😮still considered 3rd world countries but I don't see any problem with their population. And most South East Asian countries are waaaaay better than these South Asian countries when it comes to economy. So I don't think generalizing 3rd world country is necessary on your comment. 😅

Which would be solved with a much lower population correct? Less population density, would lead to much less poverty, which more could be invested into infastructure which would fix sanitation. 165 million crammed in that area. Imagine if it was only 65 million. Imagine 100 million people less how much progress it could make. If every woman wasnt having 4-10 kids. Which could easily be solved with hormonal birth control measures or iuds. Or sterilization after each woman has 2 kids replacement rate 3 tops. Most countries offer tube litigation after the 3rd kid. 100 million less mouths to feed and 100 million less people pooping and peeing daily it could really clean up dont you think?

Their culture is to litter, honk incessantly, ride like maniacs, SELL other human beings into prostitution and so on... But he is shaming them? Everyone should. That is not normal. I don't care how poor they are. They should do something about their immediate surroundings (if they are able to litter everywhere, they are also able to throw the trash where it should be thrown; if they are able to throw literal shit and, well, other shit into bodies of water, they should also be able to not do that and actually preserve the most precious thing on this planet of ours...), take care of their fellow humans and animals and change the governmental structure.

I have spent two months in Bangladesh about 30 years ago. I do agree on those insights depicted in this documentary. Although I must say, it shows all in all most of the bad sides of Bangladesh. There are so much beautiful landscapes, where could be filmed and the most beautiful I found about Bangladesh, were the people. The people seem to be content and there is a lot of smiling and friendliness. I found eventhough people are very poor, their facial expressions are often much more friendly and joyful than you can see in western countries. I felt really well in Bangladesh. And in traffic and in crowded places, eventhough it is a mess, everyone seems to get along with each other and find the way around each other. Not so, I find, in european countries, where everyone seems to bee agressive towards each other. As I said, thats my impression and its some 30 years ago. At my time, there were about 75 Million inhabitants in Bangladesh. Meanwhile it seems to have doubled.
