I'm a student from Bangladesh. Innocent students, including a 17-year-old boy are being arrested on false charges. Police are checking phones for protest-related content and arresting individuals indiscriminately. They are also raiding homes at midnight, taking away students without explanation.
Bangladesh has representatives of famous foreign media including Aljazeera, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Reuters. If 2000+ people had really died in Bangladesh, they would have given the same information as they did about the Palestinians in Gaza!! It is not at all possible to kill and hide so many dead bodies in a densely populated country like Bangladesh

200+ died in clashes across the country you made it 2000!! Those dead include policemen, Chhatra League, journalists, pedestrians killed in crossfire and ordinary apolitical people, you are doing politics with those dead bodies.

Even a 7 year old girl names Riya got shoot by police and died in spot while playing in their rooftop A boy read in class four maybe , got shoot by police while studying near the window A boy don't know his exact age but under 15 got shoot by police while he is returning home after prayer!

I don't think it's 2000, it's way more like 5000. because the government turned off Internet and electricity then in the night Rab, police and army killed thousands each night.
When taking any defendant to the court, you see him wearing a helmet and a bulletproof jacket, why? For the same reason, they have been taken into police custody for their safety. Because any anti-government group could have killed them and put the responsibility of this killing on the government.

Instead, the police were helping the students in various ways. Till the day when the Prime Minister in her speech to the nation asked the students to wait for the verdict on August 7, only 5 people had died in various clashes across the country. If the students had listened to the Prime Minister and stopped this movement, the death toll would not have changed from 5 to 200+, the important facilities of the country including Metro Rail, Setu Bhavan, internet Data Center would not have been destroyed. Thousands of crores of taka would not have been destroyed.

China will propose peace plan, giving half of Bangladesh to Russia, Putin will accept and send all students to trenches in Ukraine. @@user-mi6yb9ok7l Agreed with you as we also did protested in our student life or if we talk about road safety one it was a big one too but we had leadership and unity back then but now what i saw in person as an alumni just beside first 10 days was actual student protest with all educated youngsters around but later i saw was no unity, no leadership, no or very less factual demand as there wont be several other protest for all demands, anti govt yellow media rumors spreading's, anti govt/surely not students at all as never was able to show id folks where there in the mics, lack of patience to defend themselves and their rights this all turn the whole scenario a masker with both death toll and important facilities of the country have been destroyed.
I am a student from Bangladesh.The condition of our country is very bad! Internet was off for about 10 days! We went completely blind. After that some internet came but no social media can be used again.VPN is required to use social media. There is a lot of risk in that too. And those who speak on behalf of the students are arrested and taken to jail. Most of my friends have already been detained I am staying in the village for security. The situation is very bad. There is no concept of democracy here. All tyranny. We are a kind of slave of the Hasina government and we are imprisoned.

My friend in Bangladesh was taken by the police abruptly for interrogation that lasted 4 hours. He's now free but he's in curfew so no further news he can give out to me and others, Prime minister of Bangladesh should resign.
that my friend, isn't a student, that's a warrior. Filled with emotions and anger, she couldn't even talk to the interviewer which must have been a very important moment in her life. A student from Bangladesh giving an interview to DW would have been seen as an achievement of some kind. But she lost all her words and temper due to the anger she had against the gov't. Her screaming answers prove what she went through and what she wants. And she is one of the millions who want the same outcome. Freedom in a free democratic land.
