I built a sustainable colony that completely relied on trading for the procurement of stone, iron and coal. No mines and quarries were built at all. This means, of course, that the start is a little bit slow. The colony jumpstarts after approximately 3 hours.
I settled in a mountainous region with harsh climate and occuring disasters. I start with hard starting conditions.
At the beginning, I wanted to play even without blacksmiths and tailors and get tools and clothings just by trading as well. It actually worked, but the colony made very slow process until 5 hours in. It worked pretty well, I had hundres of stone, iron, tools and clothings at that point, but it seemed a little bit too boring.
