It's just a glitch. Read the description for a better understanding. Or I'll explain it very shortly. You can transfer moves you learned on another file into a new game. Which is pretty awesome. It's never fun to keep making your way to bottles just for a new move after the 1000+ time playing through the game.

luigiymariobrothers i believe the recent tas of the 100% category with same timing as rta wr would be about 1:45:00 and given recently discoveref skips like furnace fun skip like 1:40:00 is theoretically doable but in rta getting a total time under 2 hours you would need riscy strats making it next to impossible to pull off

Chris Wilson Okay here's a full explanation The way the game times you slide, or how quickly you fall, is your shadow. So when he is going up the anthill, if his shadow touches a spot that ha can normally stand on, the timer resets and he can do it again. This is why you see him move outward slightly when he I'd doing it.

You slide in talon trot and let go of all inputs right before you drop into the water. Generally it is more difficult if you're falling from high up or the platform you're sliding off of is small.

ExhorkhaaX speedrun like shit I'm fairly certain Stiv already knows this, but that strat can cause you to lose massive time if you mess it up. it's the reason he doesn't use it
