An old farmer in Pennsylvania told me never trust a bull, that you could walk thru his pasture hundreds of time and be ok- until the day you werent ok. It played out that way for our neighbor, RIP. It was a Holstein bull that got him, they are gigantic.
mike cubes we had a Hereford bull 8 years you could pet him like a dog one day though boom he completely went bat shit crazy so yea don’t ever trust any bull as a matter of fact don’t trust any livestock especially horses 👍
Now that is what a pasture bull is like. My grandfather raised registered Herefords and his were so tame you could halter them and lead them around. My grandmother would load the bulls in customers trailers by herself, because my grandfather drove trucks at night and had to sleep during the day. Those ranchers who bought them were amazed by their gentle nature. Every once in a while they're get that bully attitude, and act up a little. But eventually they'd calm down and you could scratch them all over like a big puppy. As a kid, I loved to go out to feed them with my grandfather and get a chance to touch and scratch those monster sized boys or one of his cows, while inside the fence! Sometimes they'd be a little stand offish, but they'd do anything to get a little mouthful of cob (Sometimes called sweet feed, which was a grain mix with molasses).
I grew up on a dairy farm. my dad always warned me to stay away from the bulls...they were not docile like cows. I can remember how they would bellow when they were excited to breed...the sound could be heard down the road....nothing could stop them. they are beautiful large powerful beasts.
This pasture Bull reminds me of one my neighbor used to have. His name was Patrick, he was a rodeo riding bull. I love walking by and seeing him grazing out in his little backyard pasture. He sadly died of old age in approximately 2015, and his gravestone is out in the middle of his old pasture
@sunshinyday1901 I don't think you realise how deadly dangerous bulls are and how many people have been killed on farms. Beautiful animals yes a big puppy but deadly
You, my good sir, are fucking insane. I hope you didn't turn your back on him when you were leaving because if he wanted to kill you, that fence wouldn't do a damn thing to save you.
I got to say I just noticed because we have some free-range cows you might call them on our property and I noticed the title says it all every time that bull made a move forward its tail came around right before it did. I'm not afraid to go out walking the field day or night with these loose cows and bulls but I just noticed I've never seen their tails I think that's a good sign!
He’s at the age where he’s going to test ppl. Damn good looking bull. If I was actually in the pin and he came up like that. Call me nuts but I would start scratching his back and sides.
He's just bitch testing you. Was not gearing to charge, You can tell he's just making himself look bigger. Non of the usual 'hoof work' associated with a charge.
