RU-vid's recommendations are on point today - this video is VERY relevant to my interests. Really cool to see the signal boosting here and very nice job editing this together. Especially cool that you busted out ScriptHawk and messed around with some of these things yourself! P.S. My ad hoc explanation of Talon Torpedo jumpless was garbage so I don't blame you for not trying to explain it lol. But luckily that mess isn't relevant here - the bit clip you show at 3:29 is enough to skip Talon Torpedo completely (and since the trick to get TT requires clockworks, it is necessary to skip this boulder first anyways).

Hey! The algorithm worked its magic. Thanks for checking out this video, and for all your efforts in regards to glitches & tech for these games. Would love to see the few remaining jiggies / jumps get bypassed somehow. Stoney-Banjo levitation would be a dream come true.

So basically as he fired the clockwork egg upwards he did a bit clip on the water which created a glitch where the clockwork egg locked his position as being on a water plain just as the bit clip took him off the water, so he was endlessly floating as there was no water plain above him to stop him. This lifted him up enough so that when the clockwork egg exploded it was barely enough to boost him onto the platform

This video just reminds me of why I love videogames so much. Even 20 years later, people dedicated enough can still find suuuuuuch little details for new ways to play your game or make challenges, and so make the fun endless.

So... if you ignore the 2 robo bird jumps, because they're not the actual player.... you can beat Banjo-Tooie with 0 jumps!

Tbh not really, to save the jump for the torpedo kazooie ability, you need Clockwork eggs. But you get them before entering Terradactylland, to get there you have to unlock Torpedo Kazzoie first

To save the jump for the torpedo kazooie ability (Jolly Roger’s lagoon), you need Clockwork eggs. But you get them before entering Terradactylland, to get there you have to unlock Torpedo Kazzoie first

I just know one day a new idea or new tech will come around that will make us able to beat the game with truly *zero* jumps. That it happens at the very last battle is almost poetry, it's like Sisyphus reaching the very edge mountaintop with his boulder only to slip on a tiny pebble. When it happens, it'll potentially make for a neat new speedrunning category. Never underestimate the craftiness of speedrunners

while I get the science behind it and it's really cool, I find that using the bit clip glitch is not realistic for average people to pull off, so while your old video might be like a couple of jiggies off due to the extra jinjo and the few other easy tricks you could have used I still find your video to be more correct for the average viewer. Still glad to have this adendem video as I would have never known about this stuff without it so thank you for the education

I mean clockwork kazooie jumping doesn't make banjo or kazooie jump so really it doesn't take any jumps to beat the game.

@@DPadGamer If you're up for another challenge video, I've come up with the Wumboless (no Mumbo or Humba) run. It's just possible to scrape by without ever using a single glowbo! I have a detailed guide, if needed.

That sounds interesting, but it made me wonder... what if we used cheats to ONLY have transformation forms. How many jiggies can a stoney Banjo get? Probably not a lot.

YO DPAD, I JUST REALIZED I WAS MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO!!! Nearly a year, and I never noticed XD. Massive thanks for mentioning me in here, as well as JinjoVitus, he's awesome! I was technically the first one to realize you can skip the first jump with the clockwork kazooie in the final fight, so it was nice to be a bit of Banjo Tooie jumpless history back in 2019. I've gotten nostalgic over the game recently, and am currently doing another jumpless run for old-times sake, which is why I clicked on the video. Hope ya doing good DPad, even if you don't see this :D
