I really enjoy the authenticity of these videos. All the hiking, driving, catching and missing strikes, intermittent times between finding locations, what to look for, dropping the pole, interacting with nature, etc. You have a full adventure displayed every time. Thank you!!

Have been a VERY long time supporter of Addicted Fishing and you guys especially during the Pandemic. You guys brought the passion back in fishing again for me and I'm forever thankful. If you want insane summer steal head action then you need to head up the elk river. Chartreuse rooster tails are my go to but you also want a yellow jacket presentation. It's amazing fishing and the river is crisp glacier fed so the fish are bity 😁 The elk river is a living river! So please be respectful and keep our Oregon waters clean .... no bs, i would watch you guys while i was addicted to drugs, homeless and running a muck on the streets of seattle. but id watch your videos and they would help me escape for a moment and dream of a sober life where i could take my daughter fishing and see some of these beautiful places you and jordan would show. I’ve devoured many videos on this channel and am so thankful for them as I’m rediscovering the addicted fishing life as an adult from fishing as a kid. I’ve really liked how in the recent videos you are pausing a frame or giving a picture inset to give clarification of the lures, set ups, and fish. It’s sooooo helpful for newbies like me who are still trying to keep it all straight! Great job as always! ❤👍

Hoping to get the package so I liked and commented. Newer to fishing. I am a full time single mom for the last 7 years (so zero male influence for my son these last 7years). I try to give him experience and try to get him interested in things we can do together. We started “learning” about fishing starting in April 2023. My female friend from work took us out for my first time fishing in over 20 years. My son “FELL IN LOVE” with it. I have been trying to learn the terminology and bait/luers/fishing styles. It’s a lot bigger than I thought! Now looking to maybe get an inflatable kayak or fishing platform to get to deeper water because we have t had as much luck these last few months. And then I found your video among all the rest. Thank you so much for being detailed enough with “layman’s terms” that I could actually write down to study “swivel, leader, bale, split shot? , tag-ins (tag ends) I’m thinking because I honestly have no freaking clue, slide weight(still don’t know), jig, split shot (I do know those but didn’t know the name)….. anyway. I’ve been watching a lot of videos. They don’t understand that as someone with zero fishing experience, I don’t know those terms, I’ve been very confused. I don’t have a male/female figure to teach us. And even the beginners 101/ getting started with fishing/ setting up your new rod and reel videos used those words and I’ve been pretty lost. You have explained things on such a way that it has made attempting to learn this sport/activity so much easier to understand. I am not challenged educationally. I work with Drs removing and treating oral cancer on top of many other things. And I do try to speak layman terms in our treatment plans to help these families. So I understand the difficulty in helping them to understand. And yet learning all the terms, fishing techniques , fish, knots, bait, lures, bobbers, lines, swivels, rods, lines, and everything else has been very difficult. And I grew up on the other side of the US. I don’t know many people here. Definitely don’t know anyone who fishes or hunts since my mom raised us kids vegetarian until I was nearly a teenager. Anyway, I could definitely use the help with a kit or starter set. And to be honest, a mentor of some kind to my son and me also because I realized how much I enjoy it also but I really hope to open those doors to my boy. Anyway, thanks.

I was kind of surprised that you didn't have a smaller weight fly rod along with you. Personally I love these type of streams and floating an Adams or other deer hair dry over their heads. Not that I don't like throwing other things like spinners, spoons, worms, & plugs as you showed in this video. No matter what you utilize, your enthusiasm and the info you share is priceless.
