@@SamWitDaWamM I appreciate the reply, thanks brother. I didn't know there was a pier in Metairie. If you don't mind, where exactly is this in Metairie?
@upt123. That’s not a fishing pier. That bridge is for the bike trail on the other side of the levee. Your not supposed to fish off those bridges. He’s fishing behind one of the pumping stations. They have a pumping station like this by bonnable blvd, lake villa and one behind the pontchatrain center. There’s also one in-between the lake villa one and the pontchatrain center but I forgot the name of the street. I’ve caught fish around all of them. It looks like this is either the lake villa one or the next one west of it. If you ride down west esplanade look for the canals you cross that run into the lake and fish on the other side of the pumping stations
It’s really good for catching fresh water cats and you can catch massive alligator gar at those spots. Occasionally you can catch reds, drum, bass and flounder
@@srficarra Thank you for the response. I may try the areas you spoke about. I love to fish, but I'm usually in a friend's boat. Bank fishing is something I'm trying to get acclimated to on my own. Thanks again and blessings to you.
