The bank should be take over by any other bank, then only the problem can be solved. 19 years ago same thing happened to me by a co-operative bank, in 2007 it was take over by shyamroa vittal bank and I got all my money. Due to NPA by bank, RBI restricts all the transaction until the bank recovers all loan amounts

When Guru Raghavendra Bank went bankrupt 3 years back, depositors should have realized the dangers of depositing money in any Co-op Bank, be it National Co-op Bank or any other Co-op Bank. NPA's of NCB reached unmanageable proportions which was a warning signal not heeded by the depositors. They fell into the pit like a flock of sheep. Now, they have only themselves to blame.

If govt insures upto 5L for deposits, it's the people's job to split their amount in different banks for maximum of 5L. People are greedy for interest amount and deposit entire money in one bank. RBI has done excellent job in past few years by increasing deposit insurance from 1L to 5L. First learn what is the problem before blaming

Co operative and Private Bank's don't lend without taking any collateral security like property or Guarantors. Hence, Bank can reduce NPA by fast recovery measures. Unless there is some scam, Bank can revive.
