I don't know, I liked them all. The problem is that in previous videos they had a very congested playing field so you really only had to follow like one or two key players. With these bigger setups it can be difficult to figure out who is doing what, but IMO it makes it more interesting. Unlike normal sports where you only have to focus on the ball, in airsoft every player is potentially important to the outcome. The only thing I could think that makes it easier to view is to utilize some kind of quartered split screen with two feeds on each side that cycle through players cameras as needed and the left side being one team, and the right side being the other.

They were also supposed to have electronic hit detection equipment also but that never came about for some reason

It probably was too expensive or unreliable. I'm guessing they were thinking of using the Herman Interactive Sensors, which if used would only call the hits to the plate carriers, while the arms/head are more likely to be hit than the torso. IMO hit detection is unnecessary. Airsoft is about honor. If you can't trust players to call hits they should not be playing. Certainly there are many cases where one does not realize they were hit even if their body recognizes it by twitching, but in those cases just like real warfare you just shoot the person again. IRL being shot doesn't always mean you are out of the fight. Yeah I have to agree with you. Last season was better, for the same reason Dave said. The format was just better viewing wise.

I'm certain they have FPS limits. In past games I know they had ammo limits which negated the abuse of full auto. Tracers also work both ways. Some guys had lights but again, they work both ways and when everything is brightly lit, it tends to just draw attention. Also a lot of guys do seem to be using red dots which is perfect for airsoft since it gives an overall unobstructed sight picture so you can see your BB floating to your POA.

I know all of this since in cqb every week, but again I still cant imagine why you would pick a mp5/ak etc. above a high end M4 replica. we all know HPA or tokyo marui is de best performance wise... your explanation on the attachments is something personal, but a bad VS good VS insane replica on the absolute max of the fps etc. is not personal. I mean.. no one as a secondary a HiCapa or a glock... verry strange

I think you have some misconceptions. HPA doesn't have any performance differences from AEG. An AEG can match the performance of HPA. HPA only exists because it is easier to produce and maintain than a high end AEG, which may have a wide variety of compatibility issues. Similarly, the form factor has no difference in performance. While yes an M4 is more likely to have better performance out of the box and more aftermarket support, any AEG can be teched to high performance. In fact, some MP5 models use the M4's V2 gearbox making them pragmatically the same gun. Additionally the V3 gearboxes which most AK and MP5 models use is an extremely popular gear box design that goes back easily over a decade in development. It is a very sturdy (more durable than the V2) gearbox with plenty of aftermarket support. Tokyo Marui is far from the best manufacturer. TM is the original, but not the best. TM suffers from a lot of plastic fitment issues or simply a lack of metal, and very low FPS due to their laws. TM is revered because their hop ups are considered the best factory hopup, but frankly these days the Taiwanese have nearly matched TM, and certainly exceeded it in aftermarket part quality. Also "max FPS" isn't absolute. The potential for speed depends on the setup of the gun and how heavily you want to tech it. At a certain point too high FPS will beat the gun apart. Not to mention it is a safety issue when the BB can start breaking skin through clothing, as well as higher velocity not actually equating to better performance, especially indoors. Hence why TM despite their low velocities are known to be relatively nice shooting guns because things like precision which equates to effective range is a factor things like barrel and hop up, not really speed. As far as not carrying secondaries, that kind of depends on the equipment and the game. I know in previous Battle Arena they had a kind of last stand and revival functions in the game where you could only use a handgun while half downed. It seems in the latest games they done away with that rule and allowed the use of rifles. Airsoft guns are less prone to malfunctions and a much higher magazine capacity compared real firearms so the need for a handgun greatly diminishes if you have a reliable primary and midcap magazines.
