Love the channel and content. Been watching for a year now and decided not to be lazy and subscribe. Ignore the doubters they have nothing better to do!. Daz and Callum.
Can't believe how many hours I have lost where I should be doing other things watching your videos, they are brill😬😬 can I ask, when you're in the scrapyard and you have weighed in, say you throw out copper, do you have to go back round and weigh in again for say shearing? And would that be the same for all yards? Just trying to suss out how it works in a scrapyard👉👉keep up the great work by the way!
Top notch Vandal good video. Too many scrappers about. I noticed that no sacrifices were made. Greggs shares will be plummeting. Anyhow all the best Cheers. B. K
Alright bud, fairplay trying to make a living through other people's crap!.Used to do scrap in late 80's with a mate & a Bedford 350 CF, didn't need no permits or owt back then!.Precious metals were poor compared to now days & on a Winters night we'd burn abit of cable & strip it if it was thick enough for clean copper!.Whats the score now if I wanted to start up again concerning insurance/permits, any info much appreciated, all the best..
You need waste carrier/collector licence. Business van/truck insurance that covers goods in transit. I'd say about 5k would get you going these days licences/insurance and a cheap vehicle.
I'd have to smash the tap off or take the sink. Didn't want to do either. T3he metal was lighter than air and to awkward it would have taken up to much room and been a pain in the A.
Loving the vids bud, binge watched them all past few nights Lol. Definitely given me the itch to give scrapping a go! Is a scrap collectors license and a van all you need to give it a shot?
Didn't want to make noise smashing them up and didn't want to take the sink. If I took the sink I would have to get rid of it by either dumping it or putting it in something so I'd prefer not to it wouldn't be right.
Do they not do a mixed iron price where you are wouldn’t it be easier to just take it all out in one go mate were getting £200 mixed County Durham area was at £265 but has had a big drop this week but keep up the hard work mate 👍
@@Vandal-Vlogs great insight! So you drive on the scales off load one lot and then do you have to drive bk on the scales again before offloading another lot that is say more valuable? Does someone from the the yard take a look? Would love to know the process?? Cheers M
Do you know how many 'real scrappers' I've seen throw non-ferrous into the shred pile because they DIDN'T use a magnet😂 Don't worry I'm not a real scrapper either according to some because I have nice nails and haven't been bred into it 🤣🤷♀️
Bred into 😆 I was always told a magnet is a scrappers number one tool. Either that guy was talking 💩 or you guys have been lying to me 🤔... You do have nice nails 😁✌🦊
real scrappers use mags to double check instead of the fake ones ruine it by taking stuff to the yards screwing them over then making them have to check everyones stuff first
