In this video, I am crappie fishing from the bank in June. I am crappie fishing with a bobber and triple jig rig. These Slab City Jigs absolutely catch crappie. Summer is a hard time to find crappie from the bank, however, I was able to find some crappie from the bank at the spillway on Wright Patman. Spillways are a great place to find crappie from the bank in the summertime. I am Crappie fishing in East Texas, where there are plenty of spillways that will have crappie to catch RIGHT NOW! This is a favorite video for me because I have to do a lot of bank fishing, no boat, and mostly by myself, so I have to keep it safe and not secluded somewhere. I have been wanting to learn more about crappie fishing. I do mostly bluegill and catfish fishing. The past 3 to 5 months, I have actually caught some bass (small). I love watching your videos and learning. Have you heard of Crappiethon? My uncle Tony was a founder years ago of that. I miss fishing with my dad. He taught me much of what i know. You and 2 others are my favorite teachers and youtubers! ❤

I have fished that spill way for the past 30 years. We always had better luck with the crappie down at the end of the big rock's on bait store side. I caught my biggest down there that weighed in at a little over 3 pounds.

I measured my clear plastic box that I keep my lures in. It's 9 inches. In Michigan, we don't have a size limit. I only keep them if they are at least 9 inches though.

It's handy to always keep a pocket tape measure in the pocket at all times. That's what I do, but putting one in your little fishing bag or box helps as well. Awesome stuff man!

Fished below the spillway a couple days back right close to that same spot, used slab city jigs…double jig setup. Caught my limit averaging 12” white perch. Most caught on split tail monkey milk jigs. Thanks dude.

@@903fishing C'mon mayyyyne. Try it, you might like it. If you don't, just remove it.....and put it on your bucket. It's better than borrowing especially if no one is around. My cooler came with a ruler on the lid, my rod has sticker ruler, and I've got that crappie measure too. It's good to have backups.
