There has to be a index/measure that captures the GDP growth due to NEW products/services in the economy... If only exciting products and services are increasing it just means the rich are getting richer...
wishy washy interview . You don't call the MD of a bank for a 25 Mins interview and talk on general banking eco system . Looks like Vishwanath Nair has not done the required home work to ask CSB specific questions to its M D with statistics . For example , Pralay modaal has been saying that he will come down on his Gold Loan Portfolio for the last one year but in fact it is only going up in the last two quarters . CSB loan growth is marginal when compared to its peers like Equitas . Net profit has been stagnant for the last quarters and CASA ratio has been declining rapidly and one of the lowest among small sized Banks . Please ask relevant pointed questions to MD so that what he is doing at the helm comes out clear . Hope the interviewer does his home work properly in future
