Ofcourse they will consider you for BA. The difference is private IT job is very cpmpetative and professional, we have to prove and improve consistently, there is no scope for repetative task as you may do in banks day to day life. In IT, everyday you will have challenges with work, learnings, and need to solution problems as a BA. If you make success in above all, you will get hike in salary, promotions and perks very fast, but if you fail, you may not get any. There is no low performers allowed in IT for long term as we seen in governement offices. Everyone has to be competative.
