Usually a music artist has to "grow" on me but I knew Banks was dope from the first time I heard her a couple days ago. She's like Lorde, The XX, and a little bit of a Beyoncé vibe (you know like when Bey sings songs about men fucking with women's emotions and her girl power anthems and stuff). Banks is a gem!

I have absolutely no clue why people compare her and lana del rey. Yes, they both sound very sultry and dark, but that's where the similarities end! This song reminds me of of fall 2014 i spent most of it working for an inventory company and i met a gorgeous girl who i clicked with but we where both in a relationship. we spend that fall in an affair that lasted 3 months. i fell in love with her...but in the end we went our separate ways. ive seen her since and still talk to her every so often but when i hear these certain songs its like im there again... she used to listen to this song a lot on our out of state trips...fun times but some real fucked up times too...as soon as the intro plays shit jus hits me again.

Banks I hope you get this. I regularly listen to you since I discovered you this last year. I connect with you and your work very deeply. I also play your music to remind me of how in love I am and how fragile relationships are, by remembering what I've been through and the horrible things I've put others through in my sickness.
