I hope all black cab drivers get together and decide to fly England flags to show their patriotism and disgust at the mayor’s attempt to ban the flags. If he hates our culture and traditions so much he should emigrate.
I think that is the problem there are precious few Londoners left in London now, I moved out of London in the late 90's When Bliar took over it was getting bad then, But when Cameron got into No 10 in 2010, that was the last straw for me, I left the UK and will never go back.

I'm an Aussie, and we're having enough trouble of our own in lots of fronts, but the attack on Australia Day celebrations is a big concern. I agree Neil, everyone needs to ignore him on mass and fly our flag proudly on every car, be it a taxi or not. In our small northern town we are proudly flying our flag above all our town centre shops and many cars and houses are displaying flags too. We are many - they are few and it’s about time that politicians and people like Sunak realise they work for us, the British public and taxpayers. The citizens had the opportunity to vote him out, and yet he was reelected. .Maybe the citizens hate british history. This is what happens when you have people become part of a country without sharing or having the core respect for the country that accepted them.
To be honest I didn’t know the mayors of London had so much power. Why is this? I love this country and our heritage and history. But this needs a revamp no one person should have this power over one city. It’s disgraceful.
This happens here in the US as well. People display whatever they want anyway, and now the backlash against this sort of thing is taking hold. We were screaming out for people to vote him out, but nobody got off their bums to vote. Just look at one of his mayors meetings he is so rude and a complete Bully. He thinks he is safe with Labour backing him. He shouldn’t ever be allowed to stand for mayor again but let’s face it he has his eye on leader of the Labour Party.
And it didn't cross the minds of London Reform voters to rally behind the only chance we had to kick him out with Susan Hall because she was a Tory. The Reform candidate had no hope at all, and yet their votes would have turned the tide. They must be so proud of themselves.
