@@Caleb_Mangan I agree with his maingaining philosophy....bulking and cutting isn't an optimal approach and os essentially yo-yo dieting. But hey...as long as we are all doing our best to stay fit and healthy, no need to argue.💪🏿
Greg is such a G and has changed alot of perspectives on Training, I have been training for almost 8 years now never touched any PED/Performance Enhancing Drugs and right now I don't even plan to, don't need it. So when Greg said at 17:50 "Almost nobody last's in the gym for 5 years without taking anything. Almost nobody lasts in the Gym for 5 years period" Well im one of the few who has been training for more than 5 years without touching any PED's haha.
Same here. Been hitting the gym since i was in my sophomore year of high school. Haven't touched any substances. TRT could be a possibility in my 40s or 50s
Same..I started fitness pretty late. I was 19 when I first stepped into the gym weighing around 55kg. Basically nothing.. and now fast forward 14 years later. I'm sitting around 73kg. I have a fast metabolism and undisciplined in eating and resting well. I only understand the importance of nutrition and recovery in my 30s. Gains are very slow in terms of strength and risk of injury is higher. I've thought about PEDs but I dont think it's worthwhile now age 33. I always wanted to know how strong would I get if I were to take them.
@@poppincam same, started at 52 kg or 115 pounds. I’m now. 155lbs after 5 years. I see so many fake natys, claiming I should be like 180. So it’s nice to hear from other natty’s here.
It's a slow but steady road to climb. Making sure you track your macros and train very smart to maximise the best look you can bring. In the 14 years of training. I would say 2 of them years were done right. Eating enough and resting enough. I even take shakes after jerking off. The body is deprived of nutrients and most people don't know it. Falling asleep after.
bro. How is it that one of my all time fav podcast guys get one of my fav fitness guys I watch both on a daily now in one video! My respect for Greg just 10x
I’ve been following Greg since his channel started. Greg is one of the few real ones, he’s completely transparent. His new content is still good but his content back when he first started was one of the best channels on YT. The dude is a trip and calls out the nonsense and lies. Props to Greg for being consistent on his info he puts out. Greg is the goat
I take back everything I said about Greg and will no longer refer to him as "Greg Douchette" that was immature and childish of me and I truly apologize if you read this Gregory.
Great interview! I started trt at 38 (now 45) and hired a coach. I had all the symptoms and test was at 200. I got my life back. At 40 I competed NPC Masters Division and won. Aside from training 5 evenings a week I do 50-60 minutes of fasted cardio daily on my spin bike while playing Call of Duty. It's a way to make cardio fun and tolerable year round like Greg mentioned. Training with a coach again now for a Masters Pro card run. Off to a great start.
On training intensity Greg’s right, you shouldn’t see many people training harder than you at the gym. I have 10 years experience training only now I have a movement disorder from a car accident. Even with severe tremors and my spine twisted up it’s unusual for me to see anyone training like me. My range of motion is highly restricted and my form is trash, yet I’ve pulled off an awesome transformation in 6 months harder than last time is the answer! 😃
I love how Myron dosent let his emotions over power his intelligence. He gave his piece of mind and advice which was the opposite of Greg’s but it wasn’t the topic of the show. Expansively informative and an outstanding story to be told
Privilaged to be able to say I competed in a body building show with Greg about 20 years ago before he was an IFBB pro. It was with the World Natural Sports Organization; a natural organization. He won overall, earned his natural pro card with this organization, and if memory serves, he took second in the pro show, which ran concurrently with the amateur show earlier that day. I had the show on VHS, but sadly, I can't find it. His physique was amazing.
I love coach greg. Will tennyson is another one of my favorite fitness youtubers. Both give really good diet/fitness and just overall lifestyle advice.
This is a collab i never expected to see ! I watch both and man when I saw that it said y’all were interviewing him I was like wtf I must’ve misread that
The compound is NMN. But the product he recommends (and sells) is GO2 Max. Sort of improves your blood oxygen levels... very good for cardio and weights. I've used it, it's great... but expensive. I'm 46 y/o so it's got spme.good benefits. But for younger people... Creatine and Protein Powder are probably the best. Plus maybe pre workout.
Thanks to you guys for this show. These discussions have so much more value to them than the night shows. I wish more males would tune into these but sadly most of them just like to watch the drama with the females, hence why they do not progress.
