I was eager to save lives by donating blood because I am a universal donor.
My first attempt wasn't successful for a trivial reason, and the second saw a pint of blood taken from me but was later discarded for the weirdest reason.
Disclaimer:
This is not intended to discourage potential blood donors, I would rather encourage anyone who has the will and the capacity to go ahead and donate, as this is the best gift you can ever give a man.

You truly have a genuine heart but in this UK one just have to think about themselves. You’re correct that should do a test first before taking the whole 1L of your blood they should do a transfusion back. My brother be happy atleast you get to keep your precious blood to yourself and to your African sisters and brothers ❤

This is so sad. I will recommend just as you have stated that they should have conducted a blood test prior to bleeding you for the blood donation.

Gaskia! Nah to rely solely on the blood of Jesus remains 😃 if you go that route in Naija. The UK takes malaria very seriously, rightly so.

Imagine All investigations ought to have been done before bleeding you. However, I'm thinking aloud about the ban. The fact that the Malaria parasite was seen today does not mean it will be there tomorrow. These people are just weird
