Try mounting a ratchet mechanism between the handle and blade portion. This would alow it to easily "thread" into a target and create lots of damage when ripped out.

On the Kevlar/Roast test, the knife went through it so easily because Kevlar was meant to stop a high velocity projectile and to protect the user from being cut... however it becomes almost completely useless when a knife or other pointy weapons start parting the fibers

Just a note: bullet 'proof' kevlar isn't actually designed to stop knives. It's actually notoriously bad at stopping them. I'd love to see it tested against a stab proof vest, like the ones worn by police in the UK.

A knife going through Kevlar is a rather common occurrence given the fact knives can easily wedge themselves through the threads, Kevlar is bullet-resistant and slash-resistant, stab resistance and spike resistance is a whole other story as stabbing it a thin concentration of force rather than the wide force a bullet gives, and needles and spikes can easily wedge between the fibers of Kevlar and flak, as can knives.

@ConManliness most bullets are many many times the width of a knife point or something like an ice pick. They have done some experiments with “liquid body armor” that is basically Kevlar soaked in a non Newtonian fluid that is more resistant to stabs and punctures but it’s not practical.

I recently started throwing no spin with a long piece of paracord tied to my knife and the energy I'm able to obtain is insane , also improves accuracy because the cord acts like a kite tail

I do the same, the cordage acts a long lever and a stabilizer. It's very easy to throw accurately with this method.

I've noticed that, anything slightly large enough to have mass behind it, the riot shields will deflect to a threshold. After that threshold it breaks apart. Bullets rarely meet this mass threshold and instead opt for speed for their penetration, so the shield stays intact. (until you hit those huge m10 slugs)

I love your Videos dude. I started throwing 5 days ago. Watched mainly you and TomTom. I Focus on no spin and since yesterday I am starting to get to stick. I have a new obsession. My arm felt like falling off after the first day. I am alternating left and right. I love guns too but I don’t have money for the ammo. if its banned how is it going to get through customs, in Australia every parcel goes through an exray machine and they confiscate anything that is banned and send you a warning that if you try again you will be arrested. love to have this knife but in my country, impossible

I understand the concept of not being able to stitch the wound, but in terms of penetration, I wasn't impressed. It's a hell of a throwing knife, I assume because it is a heavier knife. But when it comes to stabbing depth, I think a good hunting/survival knife would penetrate more. Great review though. It was fun to watch.

youtube recommented this video, so i watched it, now im not so sure what i just watched but as far as i see, he tries the m48 out, then a question arised, he staps, and throw the knife? isnt this knife meant to be staped into an enemy and then give it a twist? ist that why its banned, cause of the hole it leaves after the twist?

I don't understand how Adam Celadin is able to stick the point of the sharp object from any distance. Has there been times that You (Adam) accidentally landed on the handle of the knife instead of point? This seems to be an almost 'supernatural' talent. I have much respect for your skill.
