Hulk is extremely powerful to the point that it's generally a problem to defeat without it looking ridiculous,I highly doubt a few vampires would make him sweat so generally now he is usually on side quest for most of the major Marvel stories because of his weight class which would be demi god at least for it to be a challenge

Hulk is busy with what he wants to do , he cares not for the vast majority who always hate and chase him , let the other lesser lights have their moment in the sun or moon or wherever , Hulk does as he pleases.

I was thinking the exact same thing! I don't think the audience is ready for that though in live action. We haven't even gotten a true regular Hulk yet let alone a gore filled horror version of him. I would love a few animated movies on this and the Immortal Hulk storyline though. They can do it similar to how DC keeps doing Constantine. This kinda story would fit well in a dark and mature animated style.

Best thing that can happen is more people read the comic. I think an animated version of this in Nic Klein’s art style would be incredible. Live action just wouldn’t do it justice

It's not really a whole new hulk tho, just a husk of the current hulk being controlled by sumanguru. I highly doubt it will have a personality of it's own or any intelligence at all. Or did you not watch the vid and just saw the thumbnail and made assumptions?

@@SupremeKaiRich it’s not a new hulk personality( only Bruce can authentically create them). It’s just a vessel for the weaver. Another thing for the Hulk to smash, and an additional reason for he and Bruce to work out their issues, outside of just saving Charlie.

@@SupremeKaiRich Sumanguru was a flesh smith. If anything else he just made a new shell so he can leave his prison. Worst case scenario, Sumanguru warps to body to suit himself and we get a hulk mirror match. Given the themes of this run, he'll probably be a parallel between bruce and hulk. Where as hulk and bruce have to begrudgingly share a vessel. Sumanguru made his own hollow vessel with no autonomy. A person in control of a hulk.

I hope that Summanguru and other evil spirits break out of the soul cage, like he agrees to the deal to restore Charlee and then he finds a way out and he engineers an escape with all of the other evil spirits like a mystic Arkham Asylum breakout where they all escape and will cause problems for Dr. Strange and Dr. Voodoo and the rest of them.

You said 13 issues in that number is a powerful number, especially in the supernatural world and 1+3 IS 4 the sign of 4 a mystical connection is following The Hulk and magic has a connection within the Hulk's powers as for this story I am reminded of another Story of Spiderman own journey through the Webverse and his time he transformed into a giant spider-like creature sort of similar and it is a different variant of a species of a spider demon which also has appeared in a Spiderman comic story. I wonder if Peter Parker will appear in this story?

Man I would love to see this storyline and the Immortal Hulk storyline in a animated movie! I swear Marvel is sleeping on Hulk and their animation department. Can you imagine what this could be like if they turned this into a movie? They could damn near turn this into a whole series. Hulk traveling alone across the planet fighting all types of monsters, beasts, and creatures of the night. They can do this and the immortal Hulk storyline right after they do a couple sequels to the Planet Hulk movie. I'm tired of the super kiddy, jokey, cartoons they keep putting out. Marvel needs to stop playing it safe trying to appeal to everybody and actually put something out thats gonna be risky. And as many Spiderman and X Men cartoons that they keep bringing out, I KNOW they could do another animated Hulk project. Somebody needs to get ahold Marvel so we can make this happen. Hopefully this series doesn't drop the ball though. I'm still expecting to see some MAJOR battles down the line. And I don't really wanna see Hulk fight Hulk. We've seen that. We've also seen Banner and Hulk fight with each other a lot just to end up working together and repeat it all again. I would like for Marvel to actually let Bruce and Hulk work together from now on more. We need a progression in their story. The end of Immortal Hulk was starting to do it but it was cut short. Then the starship Hulk series came along and ruined it. I wanna get back to that point.

I'm on board with every single thing you said. I know that status quo always gets pretty much reset in comics, but I'm still disappointed that Immortal Hulk didn't have some longer-lasting changes. And this maybe an unpopular opinion among DCAU fans, but a lot of their movies just ooze that "appealing to the broadest possible demographic", quality, and they kinda suck because of it.

@TitularHeroine facts. That's part of the problem that Disney is running into with the mcu and star wars stuff. They're trying to appeal to all audiences and check all boxes at the cost of quality and originality. They've gotten so used to their own formula that everything just feels like copy and paste. That's why they all have the same problems. Until it gets fixed and they actually start branching out and stop playing things safe, they'll unfortunately just keep going downhill. Although DC is more known for having better animated films, I still loved watching both Marvel and DC stuff. I don't know why things changed. They're sitting on a mountain of source material that fans are ready to eat up. Hulk being a big example of that. You'd think they actually wanted to make some money or something, but I guess not.

Youd think after World War Hulk, and definitely Immortal Hulk, Banner would've gotten in his fucking head by now that theres no "curing" himself of the Hulk. Banner is Hulk and Hulk is Banner. This is kinda phony. Every time the Hulk touches a human being it's phony. The Hulk is the self proclaimed strongest there is. He's lifted 150 billion tons in Secret Wars ( technically, he didn't really lift it. He had it resting on his back while an official press would be lifting it off the ground) he stays grabbing Bruce Banner and knocking him and regular human beings around. If this were on scale with real life, Bruce Banner and all the other people he's slapped around, including Sabertooth, would be DELETED. No questions asked. Even Superman, with his official press of 200 quintillion tons with one arm ( and he could've lifted more) ,with all his "holding back" would have hundreds of bodies. Because there is absolutely no way on earth that someone who can lift that much could restrain himself enough to just touch a human. And if he was shaboinking Lois Lane, she'd be a freaking corpse. Imagine him getting into the climax and him being just slightly ruff with Lois... Body. That said, these comics, that I love, are Super embellished.

Nothing can control a mindless hulk because banner is the only thing that can communicate with the hulk and the hulk borrowed banners intelligence to just be able to talk. The Savage Hulk is the best HULK! Modernity has tried to soften The Hulk in so many diff ways & none of em last, cuz none are that coo. Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde is a man at odds with himself & is Not a good man, much less a SuperHero. The Savage Hulk is the nuclear option that Captain America unleashes when all else fails, as it should be. The Hulk in his solo series should do some bad stuff & the reader should have some conflicted feelings while following him as the protagonist. Its not a hero comic
