My first ever warband playthrough was all archers, nord veteran archers to be exact. In order to take castles/cities, i started training nord huscarls. It was ridiculous and i had to vow to not play that way again because it was just too easy 😂 i love this video, feels like a total throwback

For some reason I have the same issue with Bannerlord that I have with Skyrim.............I always end up with stealth archers.

I like to use vlandian sharpshooters, they are pretty decent infantry because of the shields.

since you have a horse, you can lure the enemy to turn their backs on your archers by just circling around them so your archer can rain a volley of ammo on them, same thing with enemy calvaries, it's fun

You get the special units from the villages that are bound to castles. (vlandian nights, fians, empire horse bois etc.)

1:56 idk man I just tell them to engage and they just shoot, walk back a bit, and shoot untill everyone in the vicinity is either dead or fleeing the thousands of high speed arrows currently blocking out the sun and rapidly approaching their general vicinity.

I'm doing sorta the same thing but I have cav as back up 😅 but it does come in handy. Also your next archer run get fians and vlandian sharpshooters ❤ they too op together

I generally star off running around and get to 20 archers, preferably Barians, attack bandits to leven them up and then start destroying larget armies. When they get to or near max level they destroy everything. My 250 archers were trapped by an army of 800 and I came out the victor (Witha bit of map edge cheese to negate the avalry and only allowing 500 units on the field)

I've done the same thing with valandian crossbow men and it works really well and they are more than capable in melee and are fairly armored

If you want the tier 6 troops of any nation to save you time they only spawn in villiges connected to castle holdings.

The knocking got me too. Try f1+f4 to make the archers advance and shoot. They will back up as the enemy gets closer.

Archers get destroyed by melee units with shields. Javelins, on the other hand, can pierce through shields with the right perk... :)

125/250 warband as forest archers with bandit perks.......broken,,,,i cant even replicate them with my little warband perk. their range is like artillery.

You can hold in the ctrl button next to windows button when you click to upgrade troop. It upgrades the whole stack. Instead of clicking a hundred times making your mouse cry

This could be fun to try, I know warband infantry was broken, I tried a small campaign with trying infantry only….ended up taking over the continent with it
