I actually really enjoy playing Bannerlord. Feels like they have smoothen out just so many mechanics that were in the previous M&B, like that you dont have to run through every single town if you want to get a quest and having companions do abitary quests for you. I just hope they sitll balance the game better and fix all these bugs. I am hoping that's what they are using the early access for, not just to cash grab all the mount and blade fans.

Should've left the baby bug in game as an easter egg or something.. Missed opportunity :(

I’m loving the game personally however I did run into a game breaking bug. There’s still a lot of work to be done but the combat feels more smooth than before and I’ve loved my time spent so far (15 hours)

I made a 2nd save just for smithing and it took me almost the whole day in real life just to get to level 60. It could be so good if you didn’t have to wait a day in game just to get 5 more actions.

Funny enough, 1 million denars would weigh about 4.25 tons. A single big and healthy modern horse can carry 100kg more or less comfortably, so that's no less than 42 horses and a bit over to haul that much coinage, not even counting in the baggage required to fit that dosh in. Shit's just outright bananas.

I think the "Wait" drag could very well be replaced by making actual ingame time pass everytime you perform an inmenu action, like, if you can only craft, say, 12 charcoal a day, instead of making you wait a day after every 12, 2 hours pass every time you click the button

Once they patch this it will be a really good version of Warband, I hope they keep the baby option though. That's a feature not a bug.

Pro tip with smithing. You can use your companions to smelt and refine for bulk blueprints. I mean just buy wood from a town, get enemy equipments, and refine and smelt away with a bunch of people

The game is fun and a huge improvement on Warband, but the smithing takes soooo long to upgrade, it is actually not worth it. After playing for 3 hours I already got a Tier 5 sword, and the tournaments also give away T5 weapons to the winner sometimes. So smithing is not worth it all for all the time you have to put into it.

My game after three days of constant play. The Northern Empire got destoryed in a single war with the Khans, the Western Empire got destroyed by the Celts, the Southern Empire wrecked everyone and now there is only two factions left with zero chance. I am only level 12 and none of my skills are past 80. The game is pretty much over and I feel like I just got to the point where I can truely play the game.

I got a crossbow from some looters that was worth 100k, shortly after I realized that my wood workshop was worth 300k so I sold both and reinvested the money. Now I have a couple million denars in the bank, ezpz

I don't find the bugs too difficult to deal with. I upload the crash reports when I encounter them and then try to avoid what caused the crash. Otherwise I'm enjoying the game a lot. Crashes aside it just feels like Mount and Blade 2, which is exactly what it should feel like because it IS Mount and Blade 2.

Optimisation is the only gamebreaker for me.I played doom eternal,rdr2 on medium no problems but in this game i can't fucking go into battles or towns without massive fps drops .8 years taleworlds... 8 YEARS!

I had enemy units fall out of the map during a siege + the Air got drive defense is literally worthless when they are on my side, but the second I try to take over an enemy castle they suddenly become geniuses

The original Mount and Blade was an awesome game.....eventually. Mods really brought out the excellent gameplay principles of the game. I suspect the M&B2 will be the same. ;-)

you can buy all the fiefs, castles and towns of the entire map with that kinda money. It doesn't even matter if it's a town from an enemy faction upon encounter just say maybe we can solve this amicably and then just throw a bunch of money at his face for peace and a fief.

I started Bannerlord yesterday and by buying some shops and sending some caravans around i'm basically with 1M right now. It's ridiculous easy how you can get money in this game compared with Warband (that I always take several days to have a decent quantity of money).

smithing is super tedious i wish there was an option to just tell the game how much smelting/refining you wanna do and then you wait some amount of days to do it all instead having to keep clicking through the menus over and over again. Later on in the game you wanna be smelting and refining hundreds of times and it just takes forever.

Back in warband you could import character info. That info was just plain txt file. So you could max out all stats and money etc.

I had a glitch that put my smithing skill at 1023 and now with a bit of wood and some steel I can make legendary javelins that sell at 59k a pop

You can change who smelts in the tab by your character. So you can have 4 companions to use to smelt

The biggest issue is balancing obviously and bugs. The core combat gameplay is amazing, and generally I've been enjoying the tertiary mechanics (the concepts more than anything else, obviously a lot of this stuff is unbalanced right now). Really enjoying it overall.

I hate seeing these one sided negative comments about Bannerlord, the creators told us how they'll be adding a lot more into the game via patches. Even if, the game itself has come such long distances especially judging by the fact that it's their own engine and that they have such a small dev crew.

I don't know how I feel about bannerlord 2, I think I'm having fun but everything is so grindy and the combat somehow feels more dated than it ever did in Mount and Blade, especially large even battles. High tier units feel useless in the face of the ai hordes and it's so buggy, even for an early access game.

Im able to get shitloads of money by just making the hardest difficulty two handed weapon in smithing. It gives you literally like 20 points in smithing for 1 sword and the sword is worth a fuck ton of money, like i sell mine for 50000 denars, just clearing out an entire cities worth of money. It doesnt seem to be as broken for the other weapons tho and i have a mod that lets you regain stamina outside of resting in cities so idk if that affects it but this is the quickest money maker.
