I don’t know how to improve the thumb throttle but I got a hydraulic clutch for mine. My fingers would start aching pretty bad after a few hours of riding.
Never had a problem with my thumb hurting I’ve been riding since 4 only time I ever remember my thumb hurting was when I was younger riding slowly in trials for hours but now I go balls to the wall and if you adjust the throttle to you, you shouldn’t have any problems
My only complaint about the motion pro conversion kit is the gray rubber throttle cover. Seriously, why gray and not black to match the factor part? Sticks out like a soar thumb. (No pun intended). Other than that, this is the way Yamaha should have made the bike! My thumb kills after a decent ride.
Did you sync your carbs after you put the tops back on? It most definitely should have been done after swapping out the cable, but you really need to do it any time the tops are off of the carbs. Nice bike tho. Next mod should be a cool head. 😁
nice, want a banshee but I love dirtbike would love to ride both but it would be super hard to transport a banshee and a dirtbike or even just a banshee and I usually ride with my friends so to transport a banshee and there dirtbikes is hard
Hey Boss, I installed the same twist throttle on my 2000 4mil banshee right after installing it, it keeps sticking, I double check the carbs re-install and that looks good. Any ideas Bro? Shoutout from Seattle WA
Bro what it was is that the handle part that goes over your handlebar, the actual throttle was hella dry, I pulled it out and added some lubricant and now it’s running like a chamo as of matter of fact I just smoke 3 guys with hopped up 700’s his past memorial weekend at the dunes. Banshees all the way. I’m trynna send you a pic of mine but don’t know how trough here. Shoutout from Central WASHINGTON bro
I saw on a different twist throttle video, make sure not to push the throttle on too far. He said make sure you leave an eighth of an inch or so at the end of the bar or it will stick. (Don’t let the bar stick out or be flush with the throttle)
Hey , for me a twist throttle because I’m so used to riding dirt bikes, when I first started riding the Banshee with the thumb throttle my thumb was getting really tired quickly and I didn’t feel comfortable riding like that, and thanks for watching the video 👍🏼
