I felt no ill will or anything while at Bantam. I wanted to go back this year, but it is the weekend after Silver Lake and i just need a weekend off because this summer is going to be jam packed. Bantam is the gold standard for how Jeep events should be run, they run it very well and it is a lot of fun!
Ummm this isn't a wrangler with open u-joints everywhere...all the joints are sealed. I wash the underside after each ride. But the drivetrain is all sealed.
I know this is off the subject a little. We have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk KL. What roof rack would you recommend? Would the Gobi rack be a good choice? Thanks for your videos. Big fan. 🙌
That was around 30k or so. Was terrible at tracking mileage and rotation as i was constantly swapping them out for the stocks when i wasn't wheeling for more than a couple weeks. So that is just a best-guess.

Having a 2016 KL-TH, I always look at your videos as the likely limit of capabilities. I’ve seen enough of the trail love on your panels to know you get about as much as you can from your rig. I also notice you’ve avoided drastic mods like cutting bumpers, etc… have you been looking at a brush bar? I know RRO has some, not sure how good. MFC seems to have one that looks mostly overkill.. thoughts?
In my opinion, the MFC bumpers are either ineffective as protection, or look like a pair of braces. I looked into getting the expedition one bumper, but they expressed little interest in redesigning it for the gen2s. So i'm having a shop fab make something similar. Its going to cost a lot more, but i think it will be worth it. (I put up a video about my short ordeal with ExpOne 2 years ago)
If it ever gets finished, i'll post up about it. The shop is doing it with the idea of selling more, but atm its just a side gig and only gets time devoted to it when they don't have anything else to do.

As much as i needed. There is no prescribed amount that will work. Heck, i barely had to touch my passenger side, but had to take a fair chunk off of my driver side. (i may have that backwards) Every single vehicle will be different. And each side on that vehicle will likely be different. The gen2's wheel wells are smaller than the gen1 as well, so take that into account.
