Its so sad that this girl don't have recognition to the world. Sinayang nila ang pagkakataong kung pano kagaling ang taong to. Hay napaka dami kasing prejudice sa mundo. Pero happy ako dahil ginabayan siya ng diyos at pinili lang niya dito sa pinas. Ibinuhos niya lahat ng talento aa mga pinoy kaya di na ako magiidolo ng iba or international si regine lang talaga. Dahil walang ng hihigit pa sa kanya magaling talaga hindi mahusay lang talaga pero magaling talaga.
Lagi si Regine s mga specials ng Dos noon, Regine paved the way for live singing via Sa Linggo na po sila, almost every other week andun siya, and Gina Lopez chairwoman of Bantay Bata was a Regine Fan, sobrang ok ng mga special ng Dos dati with Regine s presence.
Sayang, hindi na inabot ni Ms. Gina Lopez yung upcoming 50th birthday concert ni Regine na fundraiser for Bantay Bata ulit next year. She would be soo happy. RIP Ms. Gina :(
Katawa nga ending ng special na to e. All the performers went on stage to sing the closing song. Syempre ABSCBN artists lahat yun tapos kasama si Regine so medyo out of place sya. Lahat ng singers all out sa pagkanta and were shouting at the top of their lungs, samantalang si Songbird ngumiti na lang, naglipsynch at hinahayaan na yung iba na kumanta kasi ayaw niya manapaw. true. this is her best rendition how she executed the song. delicate sa first half then power in the second half. spine tingling ika nga. and also the ending was my favorite. parang it was the final touch of a songbird.

Yung ending 5:20 onwards ang nagdala. It's so delicately done and proves na hindi puro birit si Songbird. For this ABSCBN Christmas special entitled Children, Peace & Hope, si Carol Banawa at hindi si Regine ang finale kasi wala na syang time magrehearse. If you look closely, medyo pagod na sya as she is in the midst of Regine at the Movies concert series Onstage at Greenbelt which ran all Saturdays and Sundays of November and December 2001.
My realization after 1 year. Kung nasa middle ng Regine at the Movies 2001 series si Reg dito... So tanggal lagay pala siya ng cornrow braids niya sa hair??? At extensions lang pala yung buhok niya dun kaloka. Eto tunay na length??
Kapag kasama si Lea or Regine sa special, alam mong bigatin, pero mas bagay k Lea ang Opening tapos k Regine ang closing. May tendency kasi na mabored na mga tao kung opening si Regine after ng number nya dahil mahirap dumikit sa taas ng boses nya at sa presence nya.
I dont think so. Hindi naman nasayang na nagkaanak sya, nagkaroon ng enough time at walang pressure to be a mother and a husband at the same time visible pa din sa industriya. At higit sa lahat, may pinagkatanadaan. Naging mature, remained humble, had growth spiritualy and has contentment.

One thing I didn't like is after 1998 her larynx was quite high a lot of the time. But this is a beautiful performance. Anyone else think she looks like Lea Salonga here?
