Happy New Year everyone!
Here we have a bunch of Fogo collections that took place in the back end of last year. The street is off the border of 90832 and 90677 runs hence both trucks feature predominantly in the video. Banyule experienced many weeks with driver shortages which often resulted in only 5 or 6 Fogo trucks having to cover all 7 runs. In the colder months this wasn’t to big an issue as all the Fogo trucks could finish their runs by 10am and would only be 3/4 full. This allowed them to chop each other out and be able to knock off the other 1 or 2 runs that were left in quick time.
However, once spring hit and a lot more bins were being put out, the trucks would get full and have to tip off before finishing their own run let alone finish any other runs that hadn’t been started. This saw the Fogo trucks out collecting often pass 1pm. In the last few months of the year 90677 would do 1/3 of 90832’s run to allow 90832 to start collecting the bins on the other runs that had no truck servicing them.
Pretty much every collection done before 10am is when the trucks only needed 1 load to finish and everything later then 10am is when they needed to tip off before finishing.
Towards the end of the year 90677 started collecting the 1/3 of 90832’s run before he’d finished his own just to change it up. This is why some of the collections are still before 10am even though 2 loads were required.
