Nancy Pelosi is the Congress rep for San Francisco. She continues to say that SF is thriving, it is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, it is growing and businesses are doing well. She says crime if way down. She actually says these things with a straight face! She says these things because she doesn’t want to do her job, and actually represent the people who elected her. She thinks if she continues to say that everything is peachy keen, maybe the people if SF will start to believe her. She has ignored her constituents since sh started in politics, which was 1987!! Almost 4 decades in Congress, and she’s done NOTHING for her district! It was actually gotten worse! I think if your district gets worse, and not better after 2 terms, then you shouldn’t be allowed to run for re-election. If you can’t get just one thing done that helps improve your district, then you’re out! I don’t understand why people in these Democrat run cities keep re-electing people who have done absolutely NOTHING for them, and has actually made things WORSE for them? The people of San Francisco are paying Nancy Pelosi almost $200,000 a year to do NOTHING for them! Why do they keep voting for Pelosi? She has ignored them for almost 4 decades. I'm a white woman and have always had to work every holiday for my jobs! Comes with your position in the job! Some of my former positions were to be on call anytime! I knew what my job position was and accepted it! If you don't like it then don't apply for the job! I'm now retired but get tired of people complaining about having to work on a holiday! How about getting a call at 4 am for a complaint about something that never happened since I lived right next door to where the anonymous complaint was being made. Or the call about an accident again in the middle of the night and I got there 35 miles away and it was a fake call! People Suck!
When we're working on a holiday, we're also being paid extra money. I've worked on several holidays in the past and was paid handsomely for it. How is that slavery. My Japanese wife got the day off today.

I always had to work holidays. All holidays including Christmas. I was a correctional officer and we just couldn't shut down and leave the inmates by themselves. No telling what we would have come back to.
I grew up there, in JACUMBA, CA, East County, SAN DIEGO. I left in 1964, after graduating high school--it hasn't changed a BIT from what I could see--seems strange seeing it after all these years...
