With the amount of immigrants in Rotterdam the average height actually went down quite a bit, like i'm slightly above average height in the netherlands but taller than like 95% of people using public transport, and i'm talking about literally 100 meters away from where twitchcon was at this year

It probably affects height too, and the avg dutch person used to be the same height as the french in 1860, but the french did not grow as rapidly as the Dutch which is quite interesting.

Yeah, that's not a cliché, really... I'm 183cm, and that surely isn't very short, but in the Netherlands, I was one of the shortest men around. A dutch friend of mine's 210cm exactly, so is his father. And it's not really all that far away from me doorstep, so... yeah. Interesting how that sorta thing works out.
