Sometimes I think about how the owners of headhunters had the audacity to say ‘College Kids don’t like clean. They like the dirty environment’ like NO DUDE I WOULD NOT LIKE TO BE IN A BAR WITH ROACHES AND MOLD

I'm glad he's focusing his anger at the source of the problem (the Manager) rather than everyone as a whole. You get the sense that he's mad for the people that have to work in those horrid conditions, as would I.

I've watched all these clips multiple times and they still disgust me, it's impressive really.

If I ever meet someone who wants to open a bar or restaurant, I'd tell them to first binge-watch this and Kitchen Nightmares. Then they'll know exactly what NOT to do.

Regarding Headhunters, in Austin, I live 90 minutes away in San Antonio and worked in a bar near one of the biggest potential roach/bug/rodent sources (Tge Riverwalk) and our bar wasn't 10% as dirty as the Aistin bar. You have to clean, clean, clean and have regular insect control service but it CAN be done.

Yknow seeing headhunters I knew it was bad considering it had mold on the ceiling and roaches in bottles from other clips but seeing that highlight reel of the exterminators was disgusting. Im amazed Jon kept going with the bar.

Three missing creepy discoveries: *The one where Jon tore open a wall and a bunch of little bugs were sprawling around and was a close call that almost ended the bar's training *The clogged/backed up grease trap that stunk up the whole damn bar *The sex doll that was behind bar and the owner asking the two recon spies if they happened to bring a vibrator with them

I like to think that every once in a while Jon Taffer & Gordon Ramsay meet up for drinks & swap horror stories about Bar Rescue & Kitchen Nightmares..

The worst part is all these places have to clean before the show even comes in... so this is clean to them...

I’m always amazed at how little so many people think of cleanliness and especially food safety.

The owner of Headhunters did everything in his power to seem like he was the victim or he was innocent. Saying that it was HIS employees job to clean bugs is an insult. He tries to say like he wasn't doing anything yet we saw VISUAL evidence that it was bug infested, yet after the bug exterminators tell them about the COLONIES of bugs there, he still continues to pretty much decline it or make it look like he's innocent. Its disgusting and pathetic.

Jon has a strong stomach. Just looking at the stuff they've shown makes me sick. I don't even wanna imagine the smell.

I'm in my early 40s now, and I'm a commercial crane operator former military, but my youth was spent bartending and waiting tables. And I always had such pride in the job. Wether I was bartending serving, working the door, it was always so much fun. And it's the type of job that everybody thinks they can just get and make money, and that's just not true. Being a server and being successful at it takes a certain type of person and not everybody can do it. To watch these jerks run their bars like such trash cans is infuriating. People pay to be there, and they pay for a good experience. Customers aren't doing the owners any favors. They're paying to be there they're paying to eat good food and have a friendly experience. I always succeeded.

This must be a Halloween Bar Rescue compilation that we all must watch on RU-vid. 😀

If you’re wondering why Don’t Mess with Taffer’s wife hasn’t aired on Paramount Network it was due to a lawsuit stating that the producers wanted the previous owner of Bar 702 to act inappropriately or the bar wouldn’t be rescued. The new owners later appreciated the concept.

My Uncle was born in Austin and lived there for a few years before they moved to Dallas. I can assure you that bugs are not acceptable to my uncle at least. That’s one person and that’s one too many.

Ok. As someone who goes to college in a town with many MANY bars, if any one of them had roaches running across the bar I would flee the scene immediately.

IDK how people are in Texas, but no college students care so little about cleanliness that they'd excuse roaches in the booze. Not even the shadiest frat parties I went to had shit like that.
